Angkor Wat

Located at Cambodia, Angkor Wat is one of the largest religious monuments in the world famous for its magnificent architecture, beauty and its vastness. This temple was built by King Suryavarman II around 12th century and dedicated to Lord Vishnu. Firstly it was a Hindu temple but later converted to a Buddhist temple. The outer wall of this temple is around 1024 by 802 m and 4.5 m high. It is also one of the most preserved monument in the world. The temple looks awesome when the sun is at the face of the temple and the walls of the temple are adorned with beautiful carvings.

This magnificent temple is Dedicated to Lord Vishnu and located in Srirangam of state Tamil Nadu. Every year millions of tourists visit this beautiful temple, especially at the time festivals. This temple also consists of Hall of 1000 pillars with sculptures of riding horses.
