Leo Sun Gemini Moon Combinations

Updated on October 1, 2012

Leo Sun Gemini Moon (for ladies)

"Her Illumination: Delightful.

Her dark side: Hard to pin down.

Leo rules the natural house of sex and recreation. Gemini rules a wisecracking, restless Moon. And so, in presenting this woman, I think of the one who most typified her combination of the luminaries: Mae West. Remember, when she was asked if she ever met a man who was man enough for her? She answered, "Why sure, honey, lotsa times." If ever a quip could describe this lively women, it's that. She has a sense of drama mingled with glib, exciting entendres, a lighthearted, capricious way of approaching life. She's not, therefore, merely a flirt who can't settle down. She goes deeper than this. She knows she's too easily infatuated to settle on one man for long, and therefore doesn't like to make promises that leave her on the receiving end of waffle irons and tablecloths, at nice little bridal showers. She wants excitement, variety, and glamor in her life. She does well in public careers, public administration, public relations or sales. She isn't really domesticated and if she stays at home at all, it's to read something for which she has suddenly developed a curiosity. She thinks children are wonderful creatures, made more loveable through upbringing by the grandparents or a nanny, if she can afford one. Speaking of affording, she's a luxury item. She'll want jewelry, fancy clothes, and a nice amount for traveling and entertaining expenses. You'll want her to be more, but she does best in a mistress situation. She has a lot of love to give in an open, affectionate, often detached manner. She's not a cold wind, just a restless one. The talkative Geminis and Virgos do well with her. The Leo matches her sense of showmanship, and the Aries knows how to keep her stimulated. She's fickle and appealing enough to have a chance with almost every sign."

Leo Sun Gemini Moon (for guys)

"His Illumination: Quick wit.

His dark side: Child like.

This guy has got to be a salesman. He is in, perhaps, radio sales. Whatever his profession is, he uses his words to trade. I don't know for sure, but I bet he talks in his sleep. Quick witted, restless, intelligent, light hearted--these men are ever so enchanting. You can usually find them in some sort of a class or another. The Moon position creates a perpetual student. While physically active, and sports minded, he finds a good book fascinating too. He won't read a book, though, unless he is learning something or doing it for the children. He has friends all over the place, and of every type. He hates schedules and is on them only for appointments he considers important. The restless nature of the Moon demands variety in life: job changes, residence changes, and often changes of the woman in his life. It takes a bit of a whirlwind to keep up with him, at any rate. Leo wants a family life, Gemini doesn't, so there will always be some conflict over his domestic needs. Maybe just a nice place and a wife he can drop in on from time to time. He's going to be hard to figure because he is restless and honestly isn't sure what he wants. Maybe, if you don't try to tie him down, you can keep him around. There is a brief, curious fascination with almost every woman he meets. The longer infatuations come with someone he can relate to, the lifelong infatuations are a rare combination of a number of things like the ability to let him play, be a child, to express his ego, to flirt, for you to be intelligent, and beautiful (Leo knows beauty.) This is the sort of stuff that calls for a superwoman. I really can't say who does the best with this one. Perhaps an Aquarius, for sure a Gemini, or a girl with a nice child like Leo Moon. Don't enable him to be a child. Be one with him."

I'm a Sun in Leo and Moon in Gemini, and this is very accurate! I'm a lot to handle -- very flirty and witty (or God knows I try to be) -- and I really enjoy entertaining people and, of course, basking in the attention. The only major difference is that I really like the domesticated lifestyle; as someone with strong Capricorn influences in multiple other planets, being a housewife and mother is hard round-the-clock work that gives me a strong sense of achievement, but also gives me a sense of security and stability, which are all attributes that Capricorn demands.
