Lesson That We Can Learn From The Ants
There are a lot of good traits that we can think of the insect ants. Most especially the characters of being hardworking, cooperation, unity and they are not lazy. Comparing to humans we have some similarities with ants. In terms of our Christian Living we still need reminders on how to live our lives according to God's will.
The topic that we are going to learn today is all about "The Four Traits of the Ants".
1. The Ants teaches us to be Self Motivated:
We can always see ants doing their work every day. They are always motivated to work. They don't have a leader when they are out working. But they gather foods earlier than humans when there is a big storm. In the Bible, according to Proverbs 6:7-8, it says that they don't have a leader or a chief but they harvest food as a preparation for the change of season especially summer.
2. The Ants teaches us to plan ahead:
Planning ahead of time is a good trait. Just like the ants they never stop working thus they are preparing for the future. In the text Proverbs 30:25, it says that they maybe slow but they gather food for a dry weather.
3. The Ants teachers us to be Hard working:
I have mentioned above that ants are very hardworking. We never see them stop working. Just like us Christians we should never stop working in Church activities. We work hard for the Glory and Honor of God. According to the text in Proverbs 6:9 We should not continue on becoming lazy because the moment you extend your sleep even for a minute, you can never achieve what you want especially if you want to grow Spiritually. It is like a thief, you will never know when it will come.
4. The Ants teachers us to have Cooperation:
Ants tend to cooperative when it comes to work. They help each other when carrying heavy food or objects. Thus in the text Psalms 133:1, it says that it is wonderful if we live with our brothers and sisters in Christ with cooperation.
Conclusion: As a Christian we need to learn these traits. Not only in physical aspect but most especially Spiritually. We have to use our talents well in church activities.
