Let Us Have Love For Each other

Updated on April 17, 2011

Let us love each other

Let's Follow Jesus' Lead

Be ye all of one mind, having compassion one of another, love as brethren, be pitiful, be courteous: not rendering evil for evil. . ., but contrariwise blessing" (1 Pet. 3:8,9)

It is in our nature to want to get even when someone does us wrong. But getting even just starts an never ending circle of I get you back, then you get me back. It escalates until many times it can start wars. It is better to try and make peace if possible. Indeed many times what began as strong dislike for each other has through forgiveness developed into strong and lasting friendships

Being courteous is not just good manners, but experience has taught that you receive better service when you practice it. Try it at a restaurant and see the type of service you get  Be pitiful of others because some time in the future you will need some one to be pitiful to you. What goes around comes around

Your life will be very enriched when you practice these attributes until they are second nature for you

Prayer Dear Jesus please move my heart to be forgiving of others when they do me wrong and to try to turn and enemy into a friend. Help me to be courteous with all that come my way and to move my heart to have pity on others who are having difficulties in their life. Thank you for hearing and answering my prayer Amen

May the sunshine of Jesus’ love bless you today and every day
