How To Be Happy And Stay That Way

When life kicks you around

On the days that you feel like you cant even get out of bed just remember that you are your bestfriend. You are never completely alone when you have yourself to motivate you. You don't have anyone to compliment you? compliment yourself. You don't need people to help you, you just want to have someone help you. It took me quite some time to figure out that I have the power to help myself.


How to become the person you need

When trying to lift yourself up always remember that no matter what other people say. It is your life and their words are nothing but noise that fill the silence. Compliment yourself and tell yourself that life is going to be okay. When I'm feeling down I always tell myself that I will succeed, I will get through this, I will be happy. Even if I don't believe it I keep saying it just so i keep positive. The worst thing you can do when trying to be happy is thinking negative thoughts.


Opened Mind

Maybe the problems in your life are not a direct cause of you as a person but maybe your mindset. Try to keep an opened mind about everything and anything that comes into your life. Sometimes all you need is a new perspective on things to see the good in your life. Keep in mind that this world is a big and crazy place full of very different people and cultures, and the answers you are looking for could be found in it.

Hearts on Sleeves

Now I've noticed with myself and others that a main cause of depression is wearing your heart on your sleeve. Being a sensitive person in this world is not the easiest thing to be. Being sensitive isn't something you can just turn off either because usually you feel guilty after standing up for yourself because you're worried that you just hurt someone's feelings. Well I'm telling you right now that sometimes a person needs their feelings hurt to realize that they have wronged you.


Keep you friends close

The people you surround yourself with will also have a major impact on your emotions. The people you need are the ones who are going to encourage you, support you and actually listen to what you have to say. If your friends seem unavailable to you that might be because they aren't and therefore shouldn't be in your life. Remember that you also have to be there for your friends as well, consider how you treat them along with how they treat you when evaluating your friendships. You never know when a friend might need you.

Now its your turn

With all I have just told you try to build your life up and keep moving forward. You are the writer of your own story don't ever let someone take that away from you and just because you are having a bad day doesn't mean you have a bad life just breath and take control.
