Life saving Angel intervention

Updated on July 31, 2013

Angel intervention

I have just recently read another Huber's story of angelic intervention in their life and the lives of their family members. So I feel brave enough now to write of an experience that I had over 10 years ago. I almost wasn't going to write about my angel experience for fear of being judged, but this really did happen to me. So here goes.

Here is my true experience:

I was driving down a small highway where there were 2 lanes in one direction and a grassy median then 2 lanes the other direction. It was a rainy and sleety day. I was in the fast lane and there was a big long supermarket truck along side me in the next lane and cars directly in front of me. All of a sudden I saw this car behind the big supermarket truck and they were trying to get over into the fast lane, where the tail end of my car would have surely been hit if they were to move over at that moment. I thought, does this person not see me? Am I invisible to them? What will happen to my car and me if I indeed get hit? I had nowhere to go. I just had the median which I would have flipped over in, if I had tried to turn into it as it was in like a V shape not flat and I was going 65 miles per hour. Then the cars in front of me what would become of them? and then the huge supermarket truck? What was to happen?? In that moment I had remembered what this native American spiritual teacher told me. She said just the week before this had happened to me to " just let go and allow the angels to intervene in cases of emergencies". So all of a sudden I had this wave of calm come over me and I closed my eyes and took my hands off the wheel and I said take me now as I don't want to feel any pain. Do whatever you need to do, Thank you Angels. The next thing I know I was on the off ramp and the person that almost hit me was knocking on my window asking me if I was o.k. and I was in kind of a daze and I just said "Please slow down and drive safely". Then they drove off and I just sat there in almost shocked disbelief, almost as if it was a dream and I had just woken up. It was very bizarre but very real and although it was over 10 years ago I will never ever forget it as it saved my life. It definitely happened to me and I have had several other experiences on smaller levels but I do believe in guardian angels and divine intervention. We are all looked after if we only believe. I would love to hear any of your angel experiences, if you are willing to share. Thank you ,to all of you who truly believe and have experienced Angel intervention.

One time I was resting in my living room. I thought I saw an angel. Of course, that makes me sound a little nutty! But just as I saw this vision, my sister called. She had been in a head on collision, but she was ok.

There was another time where my cousin was outside. He was playing ball in the front yard. The ball went in to the street and he chased after it. A car came whipping around the corner at 50 mph through this neighborhood where the speed limit is 25. The car came within a hair of my cousin. My aunt said that it wasn't possible that my cousin didn't get hit without an intervention of an angel.

Wow.... that was beautiful to read. Lucky you. They say people come into our life for a reason. If she had never spoken those words to you, the week before, you probably might have just screamed and been very afraid.

      Beautiful story. Thanks.

Wakerra's story is interesting too and I believe it was an Angel. Sometimes we hear a voice. Could be strong, could be a whisper and sometimes it's tap on the arm or part of our body - but you won't see anyone. (a warning to move)

I don't know if I could count this as an "angel experience", but I will call it a spiritual one. Years ago when I was younger, probably 12 or so, my dad took us to visit his friend who helped build houses. We spent several hours on a lot that had no more than the basement foundation laid. My siblings and I, being small children, (as I'm the oldest) of course had a blast running around. there was even a creek that ran behind the house. At one point in my escapades, I stumbled upon an area of land that had been cleared and completely flat. There was a large wall of dirt to one side, being the ground level where the house would sit when it was finished. basically the cleared plot was a lower level of sorts. I thought this the perfect place to play, and as I neared the wall of dirt, I wanted to get creative and draw pictures or hieroglyphics on it. However, there were no sticks nearby to be found.

I scanned the wall as I looked for something to use, and spotted a gnarled root poking out. Immediately I grabbed it and attempted to pull it out, but it fought against me. I twisted it, tugged it, and pulled until it finally tore loose. With root in hand I scanned the wall again looking for a place to begin, but dirt was falling loose from where I had pulled the root out. I stood there waiting for it to clear, when I had a distinct thought come into my mind: "Run" it said. I hesitated, seeing no need to do so, still waiting for the dirt to clear. Again it popped into my mind, but this time much stronger as it said "Run!" this time I took no hesitation and turned and ran. I got about two steps before I fell forward, my leg caught by something. Once the dust settled I turned and looked behind me. the place I had just stood was now a large mound of dirt, the wall had caved from my pulling out that root. The mound of dirt buried my leg up to my knee, and on top of the mound was an ENORMOUS chunk of dirt wall, still in tact. If I wouldn't have heeded that impression I got, I would have crushed and buried alive.

Though the thought that came to mind wasn't angelic, I know it was the Holy Ghost speaking to me. In a sense, the Holy Ghost is kind of like an angel, but he's much more important
