The Man in the mirror
"Can we include all who want to be saved, based on their need, rather than exclude them, based on our wants. Salvation is a right and not a privilege, use right and not wrong thinking, before we judge others.
This especially applies to me first.
The theologian Karl Rahner put it this way: "The number one cause of atheism is Christians. Those who proclaim God with their mouths and deny Him with their lifestyles is what an unbelieving world finds simply unbelievable."
Have we forgotten our promise to love each other, as we love the LORD. Truly, I tell you, that face before you is in the likeness of God, you may as well be looking in a mirror.
Truth be told, not all will accept Jesus as their Saviour, at least, we may never see it.
We must not pay out anger for anger, or a wrong for a wrong, we have been liberated from the law.
Let no man/woman consider themselves above another.
We need only show the same grace we received from Christ and share it with others.
From the book of Genesis;
Genesis 1:26-27 (New International Version)
26 Then God said, "Let us make man in our image, in our likeness, and let them rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air, over the livestock, over all the earth, and over all the creatures that move along the ground."
27 So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him;
male and female he created them.
and now from James;
James 1:23-24 (New International Version)
23Anyone who listens to the word but does not do what it says is like a man who looks at his face in a mirror 24and, after looking at himself, goes away and immediately forgets what he looks like.
So what do we say, as children of the living God, can we deny any of our siblings their inheritance? No, we can't, we have no say in this matter, for only God, is the supreme judge, and only he, is the Creator of man.
If one believes, they are above another, as some have said in the past, do they not condemn themselves and remove themselves from a birthright?
I am still evolving, as a man, as a christian and as a husband/father, so much to learn. Thank you Lord, for this wonderful Bible, in it I know there is truth.
