Lord,I Feel Like It's Almost Harvest Time

Updated on November 7, 2011

Lord, I Feel Like It's Almost Harvest Time

In Spring we carefully plant our seed,

Still, it's God's Hand that makes it grow.

Often times it's just the touch of God ,

Not how much we,as gardeners know..

So it may be from the Springtime of Life

That Jesus's Love will bring us through.

Filled with His Tender Love and care

We'll come to harvest ,strong and true.

The young buds of life may be beautiful,

But in truth it is really all up to you .

If you come in the Spring of your life

Each season He will see you through..

It takes all seasons to grow our crop

And now that harvest time is here.

As this century now neared it's end

We know God's harvest time is near !

Just like Joseph's coat of many colors,

Autumn puts on one awesome show.

When Christ appears again on earth,

It's only then true beauty will we know.

If you failed to plant your crop in Spring,

If you have. just frittered your life away.

Still,Jesus stands with His forgiving arms

You dare not wait it is almost harvest day !

If we had gone to Christ in the sping

time of our life we would not have

carried a burden of guilt for so long

Not too many young people go to The

Lord early in life because they are not

ready to live a life that they think is so

strict that they can not do everything

they want to ,In youth they felt that

way but they don't realize that you

can do what you want to ,but when

you give your life to Jesus your

wants are changed. You don't

have to change God changes your

desires so you are not missing

any of your wants!!

Hi Ann, thank you for your comment. I was not raised in church and it was when my daughter was a small child that we started to go .Mom was saved in her 40's and Dad was 65 when he was converted. It is sad that people wait so long but like they say better late than never.Talk at you later ,clara

I remember my decision. I was 15. It was the first awakening that I remember. My father, didn't make the decision until he was in his 70's. He often said that waiting so long, was the thing he most regreted.

Good message Clara. Have a good day.
