Lord, Let My Life Speak

Updated on April 26, 2013

Lord Let My Life Speak

Lord, Let my life speak words unspoken,

Let it sound so very loud and clear,

Inside even the most simple soul

So that they can not only see but hear,

That there is something different in my life,

Something so very sweet and dear.

Lord, help them want that very difference,

Help them to want You in their own heart.

And With You to make all things new,

In life there will be a brand new start.

Lord , help them lest they should stumble

Old things old ways, must all depart.,

Some should come but they're not willing

Each one in their own heart knows it 's true.

There can be no peace without Salvation,

Sometime we'll all give Christ His due.

What better time if my .life is speaking,

To come give your heart to Jesus, too?

We know Jesus' last call will be given

We don't know the hour or the day.

So Just be prepared for that moment

We need to go on our knees and pray.

We will know when the hour has come,

Too late then to follow Him in any way!

As you can see this is another one of my

old poems ,It wasn't the one I planned for

tonight but I will try to get it on at a later

date. I hope my life will speak to others.

God will forgive you of your sins if you

go to Him with an honest heart and do

what He would have you do ,It may not

always be the easiest but it is the most

important thing if you want to follow

Him all the way. That is the only way to

make it through to Heaven and try to

take others with you ,Be prepared!

Thank you ,Mark, for your comment, I appreciate every one that I receive.I was off for a few weeks and I thought maybe people would forget about me but they didn't ,I am thankful for that . I just write poems for The Lord. I think the first one I had written was in 1945 when my brother went to Germany in World War 11, but it was never published for at least 60 years. I just always felt they weren't good enough and I didn't even show them to people but that is another story. Thanks for stopping by, you are welcome any time . Clara

"Be prepared" was the Girl Guides' motto and it is a great one for so many occasions. God bless you and may we all remain prepared.

      Hello Faith,

I am glad to hear from you and I hope that my life is speaking For The Lord now, at one time I could not have said that, but I am glad my life is turned around and that I am writing for The Lord now, I have been writing for Him the last 50 or 60 years, kind of lose track. I have been writing so many years now but I was not doing anything with these poems until the last few years, I never thought they were good enough until some friends and my son thought I should do something with them. I never thought in my wildest dreams that they would go to so many countries now if they can touch hearts in those countries that would be wonderful, but only God knows . Love, Clara

How beautiful Clara. We are to let our life speak for Him, for when others look at our lives, do they see Him. Time is short.

Great message. Voted up ++++ and sharing

God bless you. In His Love, Faith Reaper

      Hello Karen ,

Thank you for your comment , they always seem to help a lot.some times I have wondered if I was doing any good helping people then I will get a comment like this above and it makes me feel so good. Up until the time I asked God to touch my pen and I would write for Him alone , I was just writing but nothing special now it seems like they all have a message from God . They really do because He often wakes me in the middle of the night with words to write, at times I think Lord, what can I do with this ,the words don't seem to make sense but when I get done they do. Thank you , these really help a lot. Love,Clara

      Hello Deborah ,

Thank you for your comment , I often wonder if I am doing any good on here And then I get a message like yours. I am so glad that I helped you .That is the reason I am on here, I get views but they don't really tell you anything except someone read them and I don't know if I helped anyone then . Thank you , Love, Clara

      Hello Clara,

This is a beautiful poem obviously being brought to light in God's own timing. I am sure it is what we would all ask of our lives in Christ, that we are a light unto His word unto others. It brings to mind the scripture 2 Cor. 2:14

But thanks be to God, who always leads us in his triumph in Christ, and manifests through us the sweet aroma of the knowledge of Him in every place.

      God Bless you, Clara.
