The Lamb of God.

He has been foretold. He has been prophesied. He has been studied. He has been predicted. He has been revered. He has been worshipped. He has been called the King of the world, the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords. He IS the Lamb of God. He changed time as we know it forevermore. He healed the sick, made the lame walk, gave sight to the blind, raised the dead and fed the hungry. The world is a beacon of hope because of His life and His resurrection. Mary did have a little lamb and this lamb saved the world and took away our sins. He took them from us for all time. This lamb is Jesus Christ. He alone is the single and complete answer for sin. Only through Him. The only way to the Father is through the Son. We have such a wonderful Savior.

Sacrifice for sin goes back to the very beginning of time. God created us and fell so much in love with us that He provided a way for us. Even back in Exodus to the very first Passover they used the blood of a perfect lamb one that was without blemish. They were instructed to place the perfect blood on the top, bottom and sides of the door cill. This forms a cross and was the ultimate prophesy and the foretelling of the sacrifice for sin by the perfect lamb. It exists in so many Bible verses and is most prolific in Psalm 22 and Isaiah 53. Jesus is the perfect lamb of God and through Him we all have a chance at both redemption and ultimately eternal life. The love of God is truly without compare. Nothing has ever or will ever exist like the love of our God. He is simply awesome.

So what will you do with this incredible Lamb of God? Will you accept this incredible and everlasting gift? He offered Himself as the substitute for all sin. We need only repent and believe to spend eternity with our maker, The Lord our God. Here are just a few examples from the Bible that recognize both the need for and the fulfillment of the Lamb of God:

Isaiah 7:14 " Therefore The Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, the virgin shall conceive and bear a Son, and shall call His name Immanuel." ( Meaning God with us.)

John 1:29 The next day John ( The Baptist ) saw Jesus coming toward him, and said, " Behold! The Lamb of God who takes away the sin of the world!"

Luke 1:35 And the angel answered and said to Mary, "The Holy Spirit will come upon you, and the power of the Highest will overshadow you; therefore, also, that Holy One who is to be born will be called the Son of God."

Isaiah 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities; The chastisement for our peace was upon Him, And by His stripes we are healed.

Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Numbers 28:9 Sabbath offerings. And on the Sabbath day, two lambs in their first year without blemish ...

Romans 10:9 Because if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes and is justified, and with the mouth one confesses and is saved. For the Scripture says, “Everyone who believes in Him will not be put to shame.”

Hebrews 9:22 And according to the law almost all things are purified with blood, and without shedding of blood there is no remission.

God bless always.
