Messiah .. Messiah.. Messiah.... He loves us and He saves us.

Updated on May 31, 2017

Messiah

The word Messiah means anointed one or chosen one. This was someone with a special,God given and God ordained purpose. Jesus fulfilled this prophecy. He was God as man. He is the Messiah. He saves all of mankind. By His stripes we are indeed healed. No other but by His only. The Lamb of God who takes way the sins of the world. That is the love of our Lord and savior. It is agape love. The only way to the Father is through the Son.

If Jesus Christ is not the Messiah than there is not a messiah. The timeline does not allow it. Again if He is not than there is not one. If you consider the place of His birth, the crucifixion and resurrection, His message of love and forgiveness in every circumstance, the preceding by John the Baptist, Bethlehem, Palm Sunday and the other well known fulfilling of prophecies, He has to be the Messiah. Here is the thing though, He alone is the promised Messiah. He is sent from God the Father and He Himself is God the Son. He alone is the answer for our human sin. Once again the incredible love of our God is evident in providing the savior. His purpose was to save us and that is exactly what He does. He saves all of us from our sin. He saves us from ourselves. It is an incredible blessing. One that should not be taken for granted.

Without Him we are stuck in our sin. Jesus is a gift from Heaven available to all who believe. He was lauded as He entered Jerusalem that first Palm Sunday as they chanted Messiah, Messiah, Messiah, yet five days later He would be tortured on a cross and killed. Three days later He would be resurrected. Now He belongs to us and we belong to Him for all eternity. He is our very best friend forever and ever.

He is the Messiah; Yours and mine for now and for always. Here are some verses on Messiah:

Isaiah 42:1 Behold My servant whom I uphold, My Elect One in whom My soul delights! I have put My Spirit upon Him; He will bring forth justice to the Gentiles.

Isaiah 61:1 The Spirit of The Lord God is upon Me because The Lord has anointed Me.

Luke 4:21 "Today this Scripture is fulfilled in your hearing."

John 4:25 Jesus said to her, " I who speak to you am He."

Acts 10:42 And He commanded us to preach to the people, and to testify that it is He who was ordained by God to be the judge of the living and the dead. To Him all the prophets witness that, through His name, whoever believes in Him will receive remission of sins.

Revelation19:16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written: King of Kings and Lord of Lords.

God bless always.

Thank you for writing about our savior. So many people should read and hear of the messiah. Please continue to educate the deaf and blind. They to one day may see and hear.

Brad you are certainly right in many cases but not in every case. We do indeed have hope in the Messiah and He is indeed that Messiah. God bless you.

You are correct, these is no Messiah.

Human nature has not changed for the good since the beginning of recorded history. Going from BC to AD didn't change the evil.

Today, religion is at the core of world unrest and act of human depravity.
