Miracles All Around Us

Updated on February 12, 2018

Jackie writes of her Christian beliefs always based from the Holy Bible that she tries to live by.

There are so many man made beauties in this world but are any more beautiful than God made? I do not think so and I think most would agree. Man can just not outdo God. Not in creation and not in miracles.

Who could possibly look at these flowers below and not think there has to be a creator out there somewhere to have work like this all over our world and in the sky and heavens. All these things did not just happen. This shows too just how creative our God is. Even a sense of humor I would dare say to make flowers that look like animals He created and animals that look like flowers!.

What is a Miracle?

According to Wikipedia a miracle is an event not explained by natural or scientific laws. These events could be brought by a supernatural being (a deity), magic, a miracle worker, a saint or a religious leader.

A "miracle" is used to describe any beneficial event that is not likely to the laws of nature, as in surviving a natural disaster, or some consider lesser things "wonderful" as in the birth of a child, etc. Other miracles might be surviving a terminal disease or escaping a life-threatening situation.

Theologians say that, with divine providence, God often works through created nature but is free to work without or above nature, or against, even.

They also say that exorcisms, cures, and nature wonders were the three types of miracles Jesus performed, according to the gospels. They were referred to as signs and of course the greatest miracle of all time was the the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

"Miracles happen everyday, change your perception of what a miracle is and you'll see them all around you."

~ Jon Bon Jovi

Two Separate Miracles

1. Here below a woman who could not swim was trapped inside her car with the windows up but one of several men reaching below the water felt her hand and started pulling, bringing her out of the water but the windows were still up tight, no way she could have gotten out and the window back up.

2. Second on the video a mother and baby have crashed and been there fourteen hours and four men hear the woman screaming for help and they yell back to her they are coming, but this mother is dead and the baby unconscious. Is the dead mother frantic to get help for her baby? Well it is truly a miracle for this baby and to all the men who heard this mother screaming for help who had been dead several hours already. Her voice was recorded that those men heard!

Miracles from Heaven

Sony has made a movie about this true story this year. A young girl plagued with such pain she hardly wants to go on living goes outside with her sisters and manages to fall down into a tree apparently knocking herself unconscious and going face to face with God Who tells her she will be alright and sends her back.

She thinks God means the fall would not hurt her but actually she has received a miracle of healing!

Rescued by Angels. Many Stories Shared from Heaven.

I can only say wow about this story and there is so very much to it!

First a grandma and grandpa are in their pool with their tiny granddaughter and the grandmother and little girl go up the slide which is up nine feet and the grandmother turns and accidentally bumps her granddaughter knocking her nine feet to concrete and the grandfather hears his screaming wife and watches his granddaughter falling and her body turning in a slow rotating motion landing easily on the concrete! (According to the 4 year old six angels are holding her.) In these few seconds earth time the little four year old is in Heaven meeting Jesus and many children who have died and gone there.

This four year old says six angels caught her, took her to Heaven and went to a baby room which had to be aborted babies if you listen to this video. Jesus held them in His hands and they were made whole and could speak and understand!

One of my favorites.

A Small Miracle

Esophagus Made New

"There are two ways to live: you can live as if nothing is a miracle; you can live as if everything is a miracle."

~ Albert Einstein

Not Explained by Natural or Scientific Ways. Otherwise...a Miracle.

Did you know that many bodies do not decay as they are suppose to? They are called incorruptible corpses. Not embalmed or preserved in any way. Many stay flexible and life like that are hundreds of years old. St Bernadette is one of those who although dying a very painful death is beautiful and unchanging since 1879!

Watch this video above to see some very real and documented miracles.

Angels Caught on Tape

A Truck Runs Through a Cycle - Does Not Hit it!

Do you see angels? This clips shows visions captured and believed to be angels. There is more.

One of the clips reminds me of a miracle I cannot prove but seeing that truck go right through that cycle, not hitting it, makes me think it really was not my imagination that my husband and I were head on with a car yet did not hit. A friend in the car saw the same thing as I did but my husband didn't. As soon as we started passing a car there was a car right at us, There was no time to do anything yet we seemed to go through each other! Please watch this clip to see just what I mean. It happened and you can see it happen. Both drivers know it happened too! They are both visible shaken and we get to witness it!

If you have had an experience like this please share it with us in the comments.

"I believe that miracles happen every day. Every person is a miracle. Every moment is a miracle. If only we can open our eyes, we'll see God's love everywhere."

Miracles Around Us

This was a series on TV many of you may have seen, but I did not and just lately catching them I have to just share a few that are so outstanding and well, should interest anyone.

!. A truck driver cannot pick up CB signals for a good while but suddenly he hears a man begging for help who is having a heart attack. Not able to contact anyone on his CB he turns his truck around and travels about 40 minutes and finds the man outside his car on the ground having a heart attack and after getting him nitroglycerin from a bag in the car he goes to try his CB again and right away a sheriff picks up his message and sends a message shelp is on the way. Before the trucker leaves the scene though he finds out there is no CB in this man car or no form of communication!

Now this is a miracle and well, strange enough but this trucker after retiring is on a fishing trip with buddies and he starts having a heart attack and is lucky to have a nurse living nearby to take him to but she knows her training is not enough to save his life but luckily her father is visiting her who is a cardiologist! Some luck, huh? He shocks the trucker and gets him back on track with his heart, saving his life. When all is said and done though, guess who the doctor is? The man whose life was saved by the trucker!

By saving this doctors life years and years ago, he was saving his own! Even miracles can be so diverse can't they?

Gethsemane - He gave His Love to me.

What bigger miracle could we have than the birth of children. If you love Jesus you will absolutely love this video above and not a better way could I wrap up this bundle of miracles!

LIttle Claire's video was so simple and yet inspirational. You really gave people much to consider on miracles. I pray they realize they are real and God still works through them to bring people to his love.

Well you look to be doing well to me Norma, your numbers beat mine and I have been here over five years. Of course they say there is nothing to that but if not why have them, huh?

Welcome to HP! The community is not as tight as it use to be and many friends are gone or do not spend as much time here. I have had surgery recently and so have scarcely been here myself but I would be glad to continue reading your hubs and sharing them. You seem to know what you are doing!

These things do happen Deb and we have doubts about God choosing us (feeling unworthy) but that just shows the power of God's love. Here you are bring so much joy to people with creations of His that do not fall to the ground without His knowledge. I am sure He is proud of you.

Many things happen that we cannot explain. I recall once when I was living in Maine, my brakes failed, and I drove between a car and a concrete barrier, but the space was not big enough for me. Good reminder that we really are small in comparison with some of the great things in our lives.

Yes ps I do know you, as I, do believe in miracles but this was just a few that doubled that believe and gave me new encouragement as I thought it may you and I was especially impress by the video of the motorist being hit but not injured. How often do we get to witness such a miracle?

    Appreciate your angels always!

Jackie I feel sure I have told you before that I do believe in miracles and that my daughter and grandson are on the planet is only because of miracles, many of them. Doctors have told them repeatedly that the only reason they are on the planet is because of miracles.

And I hold onto the hope that they will continue to come and that miracles will come for Heston.

Angels are once again being sent your way. ps

Doesn't seem that long ago does it Jo? I know it is hard and a day doesn't go by I don't miss my mom and I know your granny was like a mom to you. I have wondered about you. Good to know you are hanging in there and pulling through. Maybe Jesus will come soon and we can all go home to Glory! It can't be soon enough in this weird world, can it?

A great hub, I really loved the last video "Gethsemane." It was heart touching to see such a young child sing a song in the most beautiful way possible. It's indeed a blessing to be blissfully blessed with children. Hallelujah!

Oh my Theresa and that happened to us just about a year ago being at the light and it was an old lady just barreling through and to this day i know doesn't have a clue about it. It is great to always take care at lights.

Did you see the video up there where it shows a truck hitting a cycle? And you can see how shook up both parties are, knowing what just happened. If we just knew why something like that can happen and other times it is so bad what happens. I do know one day we will know.

I came back to share for another round of these miracles.

One time I had another unexplained event happen to me when I was sitting at a red light at a busy intersection. I was the first one in line, and usually I go right away when a light changes, but for some reason I did not, and I even thought that thought while sitting there, "I guess I need to go," but I still didn't move. I remember seeing a woman sitting across the busy road waiting for the light to change there too, and I saw her looking in her purse for something, so she never went either. Then all of a sudden a huge truck came barreling through the red light that I never saw coming! So, if either one of us had gone, we would surely both be dead.

    Hugs

    Hi Jackie,

I think HP has had it as for what we came here to Will, it will never be the same. I know I made a few enemies on my opinions too, lol and it still shocks me today how few of us still have some values. I mainly go to FB and share what I like and that makes up a little for the fun I use to have here. Don't know about you but many of my friends are long gone from here. Hubs like this will probably be all I will ever do here, just something I want to do that has a chance to reach more.

  • WillStarr profile image

I posted a few opinion pieces on various topics that drew some surprisingly harsh words from people I thought were friends. After that, my Hub ratings plummeted and I was told it was because people were using the down button out of spite.

Management should reinstate the 'vote up' button only so we can express approval...or nothing at all.

Well most of my stories are true and better than anything I could just think up of course but I do try to sound like the age I am in the story to tell it how I felt then to make it a more enjoyable read. Come on by and read it, I am pretty sure it is one before I met you.

I will get over to one of your hubs now, have been meaning to but seems there is always a hurry when I am online anymore! But I will go now!

That sounds great, Jackie. Your story about your hillbilly cousins sounds like a hoot. I do want to read that one for sure! I do remember many loving your Whistle Blows stories, including me.

You may be right about going from the question to the hub. I enjoy discovering new things when researching a topic for a hub too. The videos you found are really interesting. That Gethsemane one is so precious!

  • Jackie Lynnley profile imageAUTHOR

I am putting those stories at Creative Exiles Theresa and just found one today I posted there about my hillbilly cousins so it is good getting those back out there. I probably will the Whistle Blow ones too eventually. May wait til we grow a bit more but I see new names every day. I do love telling those stories and well they are already written but I even forget what I have til I start digging in there and it is so much fun getting in those memories. I did have some really great fans of them here but most of those people are gone or rarely show up. I use to have my own site so many years ago but I never really learned to run it. Wish I had.

I think maybe you have to go from the question to the hub and I started this hub before I asked the question, but I will look and see! I did put the link there in comments somewhere.

Now I am going to listen to Gethsemane again! lol

Oh, I'm sure all who read get something out of it no doubt, Jackie. Since you posed a question about miracles, there is a way on the question to indicate that you've written a hub on your questiin. Then, being your question has received a great response from many, they would all know you published a hub. I'm sure they would love to read it.

I was thinking that being your question and your hub are the same topic, I almost missed it, in thinking it was still your question, so others may have thought the same thing possibly.

I am trying to get back to why I started writing here on HubPages four years ago too, however, I am enjoying writing on various topics all still related to my life experiences, so it's all good.

I wish you would reconsider writing your wonderful stories you love to write. There are some creative writers here who do really well just writing their stories. I have always loved your "When the Whistle Blows" short stories plus these kinds of topics. No, I'm not concerned about score either as I just have to be true to myself too, just as you do.

    Hugs

FA, I don't know if you call that a miracle either but not being there to burn up was more than enough to be forever thankful for. I try my best not to judge when I read peoples reasoning for miracles because it really is not for me to judge! lol I am glad of that too.

Theresa this has been so rewarding doing a search on these and I get so caught up many times I forget I am suppose to be taking notes!

I will leave a few hubs I think are beneficial but from now one this is the only type I want to do. I get something out of it whether anyone else does or not! My time is really limited anymore anyway and I really look forward to it and scores won't concern me anymore. God can be my judge! Can't beat that.

I don't know if it could be called a miracle, but I had a very surprising thing happen just after I graduated from college. For graduation I had been presented with a piece of paper with the Chinese symbols for crisis -- one is danger and the other opportunity. Just weeks after graduation my parents' house caught fire. It started in the garage adjoining my bedroom, but I was away from home at the time. Everything in my room was charred except for that piece of paper. I now have it framed (soot and all) and hanging in my home as a reminder that some things are unexplainable and that crisis can be overcome.

Jackie, this is such a beautiful hub on miracles. You've outdone yourself! Those monkey flowers are beyond amazing. When we truly open our eyes to all of the everyday miracles around us, it is all so overwhelming to comprehend. I joined HubPages to write about all of the Lord's miracles I've witnessed and experienced, especially those of healing where doctors were baffled.

The videos are all interesting for sure and do give one much to ponder. I believe angels did save the little girl who slipped off the ladder.

I love the precious three year old, Claire Ryann, singing.
