1 King 3:26

26 Then the woman whose son was living spoke to the king, for she yearned with compassion for her son; and she said, “O my lord, give her the living child, and by no means kill him!”

A mother's love for her child is so powerful that she is willing to do anything to keep her child safe even if it costs her life. There are so many mothers, including stepmothers, adopted mothers, and foster mothers who have give their time, love, and energy to make sure their children are happy, content, and full of life.

My mother, who is Native Okinawan, have given me so much love. Despite my disabilities (amputee and hearing loss), she would always encourage me to be who I wanted to be. She would always smile and be quick to forgive all my mistakes and stupid decision making! I love my momma! I remembered that there were be days where she have worked very hard even though she was sick and then come home, and still made sure that we were being fed or well taken care of. Now that I am a father, I have come to realized that giving my time to a child isn't exactly a sacrifice but giving my time and showing them how much I love my child. I thank God for my loving mom. I am also thankful that she's our daughters' grandmother. I am sure my mom spoiled my children sometime! After all, that's what grandmothers are for!

My wife: who is one of the greatest mom of all time. Why? It's not because I am her husband that I would say that, but I'll tell you this: she would do anything to make sure our daughters were being fed, always in good health, doing good in school, and always protected. My wife, April, can be overprotective just like my mom can be with my sister and I. Mothers, who truly love their children, would put their lives to protect the children. April, my wife, would pray for their health, their strength, and wisdom. She would check on them and hug them with kisses on their foreheads and those affection with love made our daughters full of joy and glad knowing that they have a mom who truly love them. Our daughters always look forward to their mother's affection and still do today. I have always believed that our daughters need their mother's bonding and love. I pray that when they become a mom, they will remember the love they have received from their mother.

God bless all those moms in the world who truly love their children. Pray for the mothers who have lose their little ones. Pray for the children who have lost their mothers. I can't imagine how it would be like lose my mom but I do know one thing, I'll see her in Heaven again when it's her time to be with the Lord.

If a person harm a child, better watch out for the mother and pray. She can be dangerous as a Momma Bear! God bless all those wonderful mothers who truly love their children.

Happy Mother's Day!
