God alone can deliver us from a life of meaningless activities. Let's not wait for a close scrape with death to convince us of the paramount importance of making the most out of life.
It is not easy to make a decisions by my own especially if these decisions will affect us and other people greatly. Although God is not abandoning us in this endeavor. Although we need to always remember that whatever decision we make, so long aw we are not committing a sin, God cares for us and he loves us so much about how we are as Christians in these situations.
It's now how long you live that counts, but how you live. That is how we decide through our self.
This is my decision.
It is God's will
It is important to understand what God's will is. We often refer to the "Will of God" in three different ways. 1st is the will of decree of God, that is everything, whether it is big or small, that happens is according to God's sovereign plan and will. 2nd is the will of God that refers to his commands, that is, what he wants us to do and how he wants to live based on his word.
This does not mean that God does not care about the details of our lives or whether or not we fail or face difficulties. He does, of course, wants us to pray hard and seek him for wisdom to guide us to make the right decisions. Although that's just it. We need to pray for wisdom not specific answers trough sins and random Bible verses that are too often taken out of their context. The answer is totally "Yes" some personalities in the Bible had experienced getting straight, specific answers from God through fleece, dreams, visions, lots, angels appearing and voices heard. Although these are not the norm. these are exceptions, and we should not expect god to do the same to our situation.
God's wants for all Christians
Readers ans viewers want to know God's will in our life. Here it is: It is his will for us to grow in Christ likeness.
First, God's will is that we live holy, set-apart lives. "It is God's will that you should be sanctified" this is found 1 Thessalonians 4:3
Second, God' will for us to always rejoice, pray and give thanks in all circumstances, for this is God's will for you in Christ Jesus which is found in 1 Thessalonians 5:16-18
Third, God wants us to know his will so we can bear fruit and know him better.
Fourth, God's will for us is to be filled with the Spirit which is found in the book of Ephesians 5:17-18.
Saying all these does not, again, imply that God does not care for the many decisions that we need to make in our everyday life. He wants us to seek him. And because he has given us the Holy Spirit when he enabled us to let Jesus Christ become our Lord and Savior, we are able to have wisdom to guide the decisions in our lives.
