My People Shall Never be Ashamed
Composer’s Foreword
I am not good in notes, but from the local church trainings while in choir, I hve come around with this hymn using another hymn. If you know the hymn beneath, then you can join me to sing this song unto the Lord.
The Tune of Hymn to Use
“Hark the voice of Jesus say
Field are white, harvest waiting
But the lab’rers are so few
Art thou prepared for the work
The soar went forth sowing
Field are white, harvest waiting
The harvester with sickle
Came and bear the sheaves away”
The Composed Song
1. Hark thee what the Lord has said
That I again will restore
All those and those past seasons
That they have suffered the loss
They will never be ashamed
All those people who ‘r mine
‘Tis because I have bought them
Bought them with my precious blood
2. Those very years and that which
The insecta called locusts
And those other insecta
Those years they have eaten up
And those I will even restore
Bring ‘em back ‘to my people
They will never be ashamed
All those people who ‘r mine
3. And they are my great army
That which I have send to them
When I was annoyed with them
For their sinful attitudes
Annoyance has ended now
And I ‘ve had mercy on them
They will never be ashamed
All those people who ‘r mine
4. And the foods that you will eat
Those foods are not small at all
I will feed thee abundantly
Till when thou be satisfied
And then you will praise my name
For my wonder among you
They will never be ashamed
All those people who ‘r mine
5. It’s then that you ‘ll understand
That I am there among you
I am, yea, I am the Lord
Beside me there is none else
They will never be ashamed
All those people who ‘r mine
‘Tis because I have bought them
Bought them with my precious blood
