My Thought And Heart This morning

Updated on September 18, 2009

From My Heart

I keep several journals and this morning I want to share one with you. I pray your blessed and hope you will start keeping one, I have one for every occasion.

It was a hard night last night. I woke up at 12:30 am. I couldn't sleep. I got up and my shoulder, stomach and back and everything else just ached. After taking some pain reliever I decided to clean my living room. After that I found myself trimming the dead hair ends off my head, to make it grow better.

After all that I started to think of fall weather how it keeps our eyes on colors so vibrant. God can paint a wonderful picture for us.

In these verses below they say

A gentle answer turns away wrath,
but a harsh word stirs up anger.

A hot-tempered man stirs up dissension,
but a patient man calms a quarrel.

Proverbs 15:1,8 NIV

I think that if we spend more time in God's word and in his creation, like walking trails, swimming lakes and doing things that make us feel calm and humble will prepare us for the coming work of our Lord.

So take a walk today, look at the tree's that have red and yellow leaves, then lift up your eyes to the creator and Praise Him for all He has done.

Journalling has become a way of life, a road map to look back over and reflect all the Father has done. Without them the memory grows weak with all the pressures of life.

When I started doing serious photography- I began to notice the details of life to a greater extent. Your advice is so great! Looking beyond "us" and surrounding our day in God's creation is a wonderful way to cheer up :) Thank you for the beautiful reminder JMJ!

I started keeping a journal on all the supernatural things God does for me, 5 years ago. For my family to read after I die.

I, too, keep many journals. I can't imagine being without them! You are so right, walking in nature does wonders for the soul, especially when we keep our eyes on the creator of the nature we are seeing! Blessings, and thanks for the reminder to spend time with God, and in His creation!
