My Thoughts for today 10-13-2012

Updated on October 13, 2012

My thoughts for today

I have had people telling me that I should vote for Obama or I should vote for Romney. One thing I can tell you is that I am just going to pray for our Country and ask God to bless us as a nation. No one in this world is perfect and we all make mistakes, but it doesn't make us a bad person. All we should do is pray, hope, and take care of our nation. To take care of our nation, it starts with us, as "We the People". In order for America to get back to her feet, Americans need to be willing to have a open hearts and have compassion for each other and allow us to work together as one nation. I, Roger A Sanchez Jr., is proud to be an American and to be an humble servant of the Lord

1 Timothy 2:1-4 (KJV)

1 I exhort therefore, that, first of all, supplications, prayers, intercessions, and giving of thanks, be made for all men;

2For kings, and for all that are in authority; that we may lead a quiet and peaceable life in all godliness and honesty.

3 For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour;

4 Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth.

Here's another one:

Proverbs 21:1 (KJV)

21 The king's heart is in the hand of the Lord, as the rivers of water: he turneth it whithersoever he will.

Even though we don't have a king in America, we have a president that leads America. The president's heart is in the hand of the LORD. Every presidents of United States have their hearts in His hand. Whatever choices he makes determines the outcome of the nation.

Let's pray for the President and the leaders of America. Let's trust Him and ask Him for His wisdom in America again.

      Yes, we are to pray for our country and leaders! I do this all the time. At the same time, we have a responsibility to vote. I take this responsiblity seriously. We need to pray and ask the Lord which candidate He would have us vote for. I do not think He would have Christians vote for those who have immoral ways....abortion, homosexual behaviors, etc.. It takes doing research into each candidate and voting for the best one.

      All things work by prayer and you have your priorities right here. I pray for your country and its many lovely people that you will have your prayers answered and get the leader of God's choice so that the economy will improve. God bless you.
