The Pursuit of Hapiness

What brings true happiness to me is knowing the fact that I'm heading the right directions in life, whether it be eating the right foods, doing exercise, or simply making good decisions. For many years I have been thinking long and hard about this question, what is it that makes my true happiness.

This very question has lead me to venture off into life with a very conscientious will power, and determination in hot pursuit of the true source of my happiness. Today I'm glad to be able to fully express all of my findings, and in this hub I will go at great lengths to let others know of whats my take on it all.

Facing Reality is tough

Many physical. mental, & spiritual challenges in life, are put in place to somewhat motivate us all to keep moving, too keep dreaming, to keep living, & to fight the undying battle of remaining healthy, whether we chose to do so or not.

Our biological clocks keep ticking regardless of our happiness levels, thus causing our internal ecosystems to be forced to adjust for any imbalances or off sets of equilibrium in direct response to any internal, or external changes that are in occurrence daily, also known as homeostasis.

There's many reasons happiness will change

There's multiple reason's for a persons true happiness & I've supplied here in this hub, stuff along the lines of a biological stand point, the socioeconomic stand point, and looking from the topical surface of things dealing with life expectancy, health, and how humans perceive reality through stress related issues, or by avoidance such as using meditation or faith.

Happiness is something I've found to stem from deep within the inner linings of a persons biological structures, and streams outward into all of life paths and passage ways. Thus the very reason for having such things known to mankind as a hospital, infirmary, a sanctuary, a home, church, monastery, and even paradise dream lifestyles.

Watch your eating habits

The video above suggest, In that of many unhealthy people, their blood quickly becomes clogged, due to the clumping of red blood cells (Lack of hydration & oxygen or alkaline levels), thus giving rise to more bacteria under high acidic conditions in the blood stream.

This high acidic condition in the body makes for a lack in good blood flow, thus leading to diseased conditions, and potential death, your heart is at the center of this poor health condition. The heart is responsible for getting blood to circulate throughout the body, and when the arteries are clogged, the hearts walls will harden.

This highly unstable blood PH condition can easily go undetected for years, until the bodies acid levels reach the breaking point, and by having bad eating habits of processed acidic foods, is the leading cause today of a troubled heart, heart disease, diabetes, anemia. cancer, and many more major and minor immune system deficiencies.

Note: Cancerous cells cannot survive in a higher alkaline level, of 7.45 or better, they go dormant at 7.4, and the bodies ph balance must be maintained at 7.365 at all times, if the PH balance in your blood stream is off set by acidic foods, drinks, poisons like alcohol, the body will compensate by taking oxygen from other organs, causing further bodily damage.

Keep hydrated! especially if you still choose to drink soda's, or alcoholic beverages. Learn about the benefits of drinking organic natural fruit juices, Goji berries and other fruits or berries high in antioxidants.

This pursuit gets hindered by poor health for many of us

The introduction to anything foreign to our bodies, will cause a sort of inward violent response in our bodies signaling to us, by means of neural feedback or brain impulses, by discomfort, pains, out right cries for help for being hurt, injured or sick with illness of any kind. In the worst case scenario this bodily defense system may be indicating, that the very end of a persons life may be near to come.

Anywhere from poor eating habits, dealing with any hazardous chemicals on the surface of your body, over exposure to any violent conditions are examples of these harmful things, and will also hinder the happiness factor. This is reason to protect oneself from ingesting the wrong things, especially processed foods, which all have potentially added to the medical issues many of us have worldwide, and mostly in America.

Reason for my determination of such a truth, is for the very fact that our hearts are responsible for distributing all the blood pressure, that will flow through our entire body, supplying all the useful & needed oxygen levels to our brain as well as vital nutrients our other cells need via circulation & cellular respiration.

Now our white blood cells act as the ultimate defense mechanism for our body, by detecting the presence of invaders such as fungus, bacteria or cholesterol and can attack them if your blood stream is more alkaline, one stabilized healthy fighting machine for those of us with a much more balanced blood PH.

Health Tips -

  • Your heart is key to your happiness, to all of your senses, and will make or break your livelihood & long term survival potential.
  • It's truly precious and needs to be well taken care of, so to do so will take a total re-assessment of what foods you are eating, what drinks you choose to consume, because this is where everything else in your life will stem from.
  • The heart is a great bio pump, but reacts to what you do to your body, and definitively to what you place into your mouth.
  • It will actually beat much harder looking to over compensate for the lack of oxygen, and blood flow to the brain if the blood is unhealthy in any way. This tends to cause people many major health issues, and is a direct hindrance to true happiness.
  • Research about the beneficial factors of juicing leafy greens, berry's high in antioxidants, and all other vegetables, & try to purchase all organic products.
  • Reduce the amounts of oils, and fats you eat daily, like fried foods, mayonnaise, processed dairy products, hydrogenated oils, and trans fats.
  • Quit drinking soda, coffee, alcohol, smoking, and any other high acid & toxin distributors.

How Alkaline blood PH can affect your Hapiness & overall health

What is Homeostasis,

Homeostasis, well its a very critical thing that our body is continuously working on establishing, which is a sort of balance beam, as soon as our body kicks into over drive attempting to get things back to normal homeostasis is what is occurring. Definition: "Is the property of a system that regulates its internal environment and tends to maintain a stable, constant condition of properties like temperature or pH. It can be either an open or closed system." wikipedia.

With such a known fact I have determined that once the fight for our body to maintain chemical equilibrium is lost, that all time pursuit for happiness is fatally defeated, thus being the other fact that a vibrant and great working heart will keep you smiling for quite some time, even if the external environment of the body opposes such a joyous occasion.

Tip of the day

  • Meditation also helps to ease tension, and stress give it a try, purpose is to calm your nerves and to clear the mind.

Good homeostasis improves emotions, bad does opposite

Breathing heavy due to lack of oxygen, whether your just sitting somewhere or while walking, or running its all proof, that our health causes more issues than most of us would like to admit. I believe true happiness can only be achieved by great health and a strong heart, which externally is shown by having a energetic smile.

The human body is one powerful biological machine in itself, and it will do its best to compensate for any lack of oxygen in the blood, by forming its own antioxidants which can only do so until its breaking point is reached. For most people it becomes a combination of poor health habits to bring fourth rise to many disease, and in extreme cases even sudden death, as with cases of blood poisoning.

Happiness is directly proportional to the stable beating of ones heart, and blood flow throughout any living system. This is also fact, and reason for me to believe stress related illnesses increase the potential for heart disease, via higher blood pressure in a body with multiple blockages, blood clots, and bad blood clumped flow.

Faith based Knowledge is key

Economic & Social issues may cause struggles, but giving up isn't the answer at all, get inspired & get your life in tact

This story here is one that's a true survival story, I provided two videos here, for the purpose to demonstrate that true happiness not only comes from within, but also can be achieved by not giving up no matter what the odds may appear to be. Hope is there only if we utilize our god given ability to look for a better way of existence on this planet.

All our experiences can be enhanced, no matter what our life may be like, and this guy Nick proves it to us all in every way. So telling of all the negative social issues will not help any one, but true inspirational activeness as he has shown can change our inner core, and virtually bring happiness to us as a lesson of survival, and self fulfillment of a divine movement.

This is where a persons faith comes in handy, because there's always going to be obstacles in life, that tend to test your waters for tension, and stresses of dealing with things on all levels. You need to have something in place as a means of an outlet to help guide your mind away from focusing on negative aspects about your most current situation, a persons faith becomes huge.

World religions all are faith based an are highly recommended for helping people, cope with harsh issues due to its ability to help people as a community based group that could help neutralize the negativity in ones life. If you notice there is a commonality between the human heart, faith, and community. Its no different from the oxygen your blood requires to maintain a stable environment, and when things are out of balance we all have seen what occurs.


In conclusion true happiness is derived from the heart and extends outward to ones faith in their community, in the love of their family. If these things aren't in balance everything can become jeopardized, this is why life requires an overall balance of all things, and especially emotional well being.

      @Britny, yes indeed all of these eating habits we've all developed in recent years are the cause of much of our physical health conditions as well as mental.

      After I changed my diet about 5 months back at the beginning of this year of 2012, I noticed my mind has even cleared up, and this is just the start, my body has improved my hair is growing back, which I was beginning to lose my hair a bit, and I'm approaching 40 years old.

      The whole aging thing is not accurate in my honest and humble opinion, and so I believe by going with a more plant based diet my cells will love me for it, and the healing has already begun, oh and my gastritis is almost gone as well.

      I think there's some truth to what you say. They say eating the wrong foods can aggrivate your adhd/bi polar. They also say to avoid hydrogenated oils, b/c the human brain is mostly fat, and if too many bad fats get in, your mental health is affected. There are however, some heart/brain healthy fats... I like meditation to, b/c it lowers your stress, and gives you love for YOURSELF. Self-respect... Confidence... Low stress levels... A lot of people lack these things...

      Imagine if everyone was to truly look at the mirror one day & decide to look for true happiness, which is mostly biological in nature we would quickly heal many of the worlds issues, because those whom are the greediest are truly the most unhappy inside out.

      Stress is just a mere illusion created to throw off our equilibrium I do believe, and that's why faith, and meditation works wonders to destroy its harmful lashing at us all.

      Hi CloudExplorer...This is a very interesting outlook on the pursuit of happiness.You have definitely talked about important points of physical well being. Stress of any kind is really not advisable as it not only effects our emotional or psychological perspectives but also is not very healthy physically. Balance is indeed the key to happiness and also helps well in the creation of stable environment around us.

      Thanks Capedium, a great deal is help is needed for people these days, and definitely dealing with helping folks gain better awareness to what's our heart condition issues, and ultimately what causes happiness to leave many lives today.

      Thus the reason for all the info being placed into such a hub, we need to help spread the love, and intuitive info about it all, because life needs to change starting with us.

      So its imperative for us all to share such truthful awareness about happiness if at all possible, I tried my best attempt here to help others see what I've grown to learn, and possibly inspire them to strive for much more in life from the inside outward as opposed to the other way around.
