Name numerology is a major part of numerology. It has its own distinct importance.

Like your date of birth, your name also has a specific numerical value, which is known as Name Number. This number is calculated by adding all the specific numbers of the letters in your name. According to numerology, if your birth number and name number are compatible and harmonious with each others, it is beneficial to you. But if your birth number and name number are conflicting, you may face some problems. You may also face specific problems if the name number is not a ‘good’ one.

In such problematic situations, numerologists suggest you to change your name or to add or remove a letter in your name to change the numerical value of the name. This new numerical value of your name is compatible with your birth number, so it can eradicates the conflicting characteristics.

Does Changing Name Work?

Now the question is: Does Changing Name Work?

There are many angles to this issue. Let us discuss about the.

First of all, your name is your identity. When you change your name, you change your identity. So if you change your name to get a better one, obviously you get benefits of it. In fact, many of the people who change their name for numerological reasons find that it really works for them. But on the other hand, many people experience that nothing good is happening after changing names. What would be the reason for such dissimilar results?

The answer is here:

After changing the name, many people do not forget their previous names. Many people start to use both of their names, i.e. the previous one and changed one. In such cases, these people would not get the benefits of the name change.

Moreover, one should not expect immediate results after changing the name. Forgetting old name is an essential thing to get the results.

For the best results, not only the person but also people surrounding him should forget the previous name. Off course, this takes much time.

Change in spelling: Does it Work?

The answer to this question is much like the answer to the question Does Changing Name Work?

One must forget the old spelling and he should use new spelling each time and everywhere. This is a must thing to get the benefits of the new spelling.

When Name or Spelling Change Works?

Now this question is the most important question. Changing name or spelling works only if there are numerological problems in previous name, and not other problems. If one has no ambition, planning, goal, hard or smart working habits, how can he get better results just by numerical changes?

There is another problem with change of spelling. Numerologists generally suggest changing a letter which is not the first letter of the name. I think the first letter of any name is most important, like an engine of railway which carries all the bogies. Although the name number matters, If the problem is in the first letter, i.e. engine, how can repairing other letters will work? We must think about this fact.

Moreover, even if the name number is compatible with your birth number, what if the name is not good? For example, if that compatible name originally belongs to a bad person of real of fictitious character? Or the meaning of the name is not good?

Before selecting a new name one must think about all the angles I have described above.

Changing Name is not Practical

Legally changing name is not so easy and not practical. There is legal process and after completing it, you have to change it everywhere, on all documents including your Bank Account, Passport, Driving Licence, Income Tax Returns, Property related documents etc. Better thing is that instead of changing your name, you should make other changes within you. Your Birth Number and Life Path Number has given you specific negative qualities. You should change the. This will help more.

Other things you can do are using specific numbers and colors, making changes in your signature. This too helps a lot!
