Earthquakes & Natural Disasters

The Bible says that there will be earthquakes, famines, and natural disasters in the end days:

Matthew 24:7b (ESV) – and there will be famines and earthquakes in various places.

Mark 13:8b (ESV) – There will be earthquakes in various places; there will be famines. These are but the beginning of the birth pains.

Here’s a look at some of what Mother Nature has given our globe this past year (2012):

Are Natural Disasters Getting Worse?

See results

According to the Washington Post ($528 billion in damage during 1981-1990 to $1.2 trillion in damage during 2001-2010), natural disasters are getting worse every year.

Just as in labor of a baby contractions get worse the closer you get to pushing that baby out, so our world is getting closer to the end times and Jesus’ return. Are you ready?

      Great hub

However I dont think these are natural, I believe that they are God made.

This is a warning and still no one gets it, how sad.

I am ready for Jesus. Strange as my friend that just left was discussing this and like many others she does not want to admit Gods wrath.

However I dont see why not, as God punishes the wicked everyday in some way.

I guess they are scared to live it, much better to live that then what is going on now. Whatever the case they dont want to admit it. My friend said dont talk about it in front of my kids. (they were not here tonight) yet what they dont see , their kids, are living in a worse world than Gods wrath, they need to be more afraid of the volience, wars, famine, fighting, killing that is going on now. Thats what their kids are facing now. Gods wrath is a clear and vivid image not to mention better than what is going on now.

I also told her, since we walk in Gods word we dont have to worry, so dont worry about Gods wrath. The evil doers are done and not only the day of judgement but NOW.

Gods wrath will be no escape however I am not worried about it. We need a new world. And to rebuild a world, you have to destroy the other.

Gods wrath will lead to heaven the world now is leading to hell.

One of my hubs I left a video on the seven signs of the Apocalypse, which also clarifies all of what you have stated on this hub. Thank you

      thank you for this hub

Yes, but we as Christians and Jews are about to enter into a holocaust. We will experience great persecution. The question is will we be able to hold true like so many martyrs before us did? And have we taught our children well enough to hold fast and claim these Truths for themselves as well in the mist of persecution?
