New Year New You: Reprogram Your Thinking Pattern

The best thing about the New Year is you could start over. If you had a bad year you could leave it in the past and start new. One way to do that is to reprogram your thinking.

Sometimes in life people encounter people who are negative and try to tear them down. If last year you went through a break up or had people fill your head with self doubt now is the time to start over.

When starting over you have to reprogram your thinking pattern. One idea what to do is to get a piece of paper and pen out. Sit in a relaxed state in a quiet room. Make sure there are no interruptions. Write down whatever thought comes to your head.

If a negative thought comes to mind throw the paper out and start a new list. Change the thought into a thought that feels good. If you see that it is a positive thought keep writing until the page is filled with positive thoughts. Then examine what kind of thinking patterns you have. If it is bad know that you have to reprogram your thinking. If it is positve look in the mirror and read it out loud.

When stating these affirmations make sure that you believe what you are saying. If you are fill of self doubt it could be hard but over time once you reprogram your thinking you will have no trouble doing this.

If your statement is "Good things are on the way for me," and you do not feel that good things are on the way for you make another list. This time look back and list all of the things that you are grateful for. Things that happened in the past and the good things that you are experiencing now in life.

You can also Google affirmations. Read them aloud and keep reading them and using them until you feel that your mind is in a better state. One way to get your mind in a better state is to get rid of the negative people in your life.

Your thinking pattern could be bad because of the people that are in your life. If you are starting over with an ex and your friends are saying "He is only being nice to you because he feels sorry for you,"distance yourself from that person now. They are doing nothing but trying to bring you down.

Some people think they are being protective and being a good friend by being mean and honest. It is important to make sure your friend is on guard but friends do not fill their friends heads with lies.

A good friend will tell you to be careful. They will not keep bringing up what someone did to you. They will warn you but give you the freedom to make your own decision.

No one knows the future or the situation. Maybe your ex feels bad or realizes that he made a mistake. He could be making up for what he did to you. Only you could be the judge of what to do.

Another way to reprogram your thinking is to surround yourself with positive people. Surround you with people who relax you when you are nervous. Anyone who makes you insecure or upset you more when you nervous are not people you want to be around. You do not want to be around people who discourage you from what you really want. You can have anything you want. If you are around positive people you will think positive thoughts. If you are around negative people you think negative thoughts. Make sure that you surround youself with the right people.

Try visualization. Visualize yourself with your desire. Think about how you feel when it is happenining.

Once again it s a new year. Anything could happen this year. This is the year that you could get married or patch up things with an ex. This could be the year that you land your dream job. It is all up to you. In order to do that you have to believe that it will happen. So start this year by reprogramming your mind in a positive way.
