Norway Spiral

The Norway Spiral - On December 9, 2009 a strange spinning spiral of light appeared in the sky over Norway with a corkscrew like blue beam of light coming from its center towards the ground. This was one day before American President Obama was to accept his, undeserved in my opinion, Nobel Peace Prize in Norway.

I have been hearing about the very strange Norway Spiral for a while now, but it wasn't until tonight did I take the time to Google for more information about this strange unexplained phenomenon. When I watched the video my jaw literally dropped when the spiral starts changing into a small round Black Hole looking thing that keeps getting bigger and bigger as it all slowly dissipated away. Many people in Norway witnessed this since it happened about 8:45 am. It lasted for about 2 minutes. There are tons of videos and pictures that people captured on their cell phones, video cameras and even professional grade cameras.

Cause of Norway Spiral of Light?

There has been some speculation that a failed Russian Rocket test flight was the culprit. At first Russia denied any such rocket tests, but then later supposedly admitted to having launched a test rocket from a submarine. Specifically a naval ballistic missile RSM-56 Bulava.

Others have suggested it was just another aurora borealis light show, commonly called the Northern Lights. Nowegian's see the Northern Lights all the time and many have said that, no this was not the cause. It did not look anything like the Northern Lights.

I have also heard reports that this strange Norway Spiral of Light appeared in the White Sea before the failed rocket test there and was the cause of the rocket failure.

There have been claims this was a black hole produced by the CERN particle accelerator. While I do not believe this really, it does share some interesting characteristics with a black hole. Many black holes do spin, emit light as gas and matter falling into it becomes superheated. And even project out from its center a beam like in the Norway Spiral, these are known as Quasars.

If you imagined that somehow a miniature black hole did form. As matter and gas fell into it it would probably create such a perfect spiral pattern as stuff gets sucked in. As it eats more stuff it would grow and get bigger and bigger, just like we see in the end of some of the video clips. I do not believe this norwegian spiral was caused by a black hole because if it was a black hole it would have most likely came closer to the earth and ate us all up like it had just found the universes best all you can eat buffet. Burp! Instead it appears to move up into the sky and away from the Earth. Regardless I do think its crazy that it does resemble what a black hole would look like if we was to ever see the effects of one.

Great picture of the Blue spiral tail and the black hole starting to open up.
Great picture of the Blue spiral tail and the black hole starting to open up.

Some have suggested the norwegian spiral was a UFO even. While I have no idea what caused this I do not for one moment believe it was either a failed rocket test that could have created this strange moving, spinning geometrical spiral of light in the sky that was so perfect it looks to be a projected hologram or even the Northern Lights. I just can not imagine a rocket that has failed and is spinning out of control would create such a perfect blue spinning spiral of light. Nor does it explain the blue corkscrew beam of light emanating from the spirals center going down towards the ground. A rockets smoke trail does not leave a beam of light in its wake, sorry.

I tend to think that HAARP was most likely the cause of this strange Spiral. You can find an in-depth analysis of this HAARP theory in the 3rd part.

While I do not claim to know what the real cause was I will just say this instead. One thing I learned long ago is that for everything we learn in life it leads us to ten more closely related things we do not yet understand. Learn these new secrets and you will find even more waiting to tease you. It's a vicious cycle.

Be sure to watch some of the amazing videos I have embedded below and enjoy the pictures. What do you think caused the Norway Spiral? Feel free to express your views in the comments below and to take the related poll.

What is even more strange is that the next day similar events happened over Siberia and the Kremlin in Russia. Being that all of these events happened within a 24 hour period I tend to think they must be somehow related.

Hi, this is fascinating. I had never heard of it before. I do believe that it is a rocket, but it could also be a very powerful laser light beamed from the ground up. I couldn't stop looking at the video's. great. cheers nell

My first thought is that it could be a natural phenomenon that we do not yet understand..and then my mind jumped to maybe it could be UFO's (gasp) or aliens (double gasp) or a worm hole opening another dimension (triple gasp) or maybe it could be the way to the Hubnuggets nomination (quadruple gasp) hahahahhaha Yes, congratulations to your Hubnuggets nomination. Don't follow the norway spiral, follow this link instead (teehee) http://hubpages.com/hubnuggets10/hub/High-Stakes-H...

ripplemaker I sure didn't mean to imply I am famous, or ever will be. I sure wouldn't mind it though if it came with a healthy paycheck.

Thanks Sage Williams. This definitely did happen with so many documenting it with pictures and videos. I sure would like to know what caused it?

Thanks Pamela. My best guess is that HAARP caused this and it was meant to show the Russians that we still own them technologically.

It did cross my mind as to whether it was a reaction with the natural phenomena of the northern lights and the failure of the rocket. Maybe there was some sort of chemical reaction that induced the effect or act as a catalyst. Who knows, but it was certainly beautiful.

Thanks for sharing and congratulations on your hubnugget nomination x

Very interesting it almost looks like something out of a sci-fi movie! Who knows natural phenomenon or little creatures from another planet. :)

Great hub, I can see why it was chosen for the nomination! Congrats on being selected as a Hubnuggets Wannabe and good luck to ya! :)

Congratulations on your hubnugget nomination and good luck! ;)

Yes you hit on something there Money Glitch, it does look like a special effect from a SciFi movie, but this was for real which is what makes it so amazing. Thanks.

rocknrodeogirl - HAARP in my opinion caused this most likely. It would take an immense amount of power to generate such a huge spiral. But who knows maybe Earth was crossing into a worm hole during the galactic alignment as we near December 21, 2012. :)

So many mysteries in the world, eh? Great hub - I love reading about things that seem otherworldly - even if they're caused by something of this world. It reminds us not to think we know how everything works. :)

      Congrats on the hubnugget status!

Thanks Katrina and to everyone who voted for me in the HubNuggets contest. Now I have two of these virtual awards to proudly display. :)

And to think just days before this hub got nominated I was considering deleting this hub as it had a low score of around 70 and little traffic.

You know salt so many of these things I hear about I wonder if it was fake or not, but with all the Norway Spiral videos and witnesses this one clearly wasn't. Then the question becomes what caused this? Thanks for commenting.

I watch what we are told are changing weather patterns here, and know there is a little more to the collective unconscious., and other related things.... your video was interesting especially the one where the blogger talks about what is not happening... I looked up the project ... and went ummm. Something to read, to note and just observe. The real northern lights are spectacular, if its nature,
