One Way: A How To Guide

Updated on January 6, 2013

The dictionary defines a Christian as of, pertaining to, believing in, or belonging to the religion based on the teachings of Jesus Christ.

So why is it whenever you hear someone claiming to be a Christian, it has to endorse a behavior or idea that goes directly against teachings of Jesus Christ and His Word.

"I'm a Christian, but I believe homosexuality is okay and gay 'marriage' is good"

"I'm a Christian, but I believe a social gospel."

"I'm a Christian, but I don't really think the bible is true"

"I'm a Christian, but I believe Jesus was not different than Buddha"

And one of the most popular in today’s' culture (drum roll please)

"I'm a Christian, but I believe all paths lead to God."

However, what goes Jesus say?

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me."

Zeitgeist REFUTED & DEBUNKED

None but Jesus

There is a way which seemeth right unto a man, but the end thereof are the ways of death. Repent and Trust in Jesus Christ. It's hell without Him.

Funny isn't it, that definitions and real meanings don't always match up. Just like Muslims that say "I'm Muslim but I believe that we all can be friends." If people follow the teaching of the books of their faith they would be quite different then they are. Loved your hub, sister.

The question is really would a Christian call you a Christian?

It may be a while before I have time to watch the videos but I ask some of those same questions in a Hub call the The Christian Fundamentalist. Scripture tells us to let the wheat and tares grow together and he will separate at judgement. But it sure seems to hurt the cause and wish we could keep only true Christians from calling themselves Christian. Good Hub, thanks.
