Ordinations, Confirmations, and Affirmations. Man made or God ordained?
Who are you really?
Praise the Lord everyone. Even if you don't praise the Lord right now, this message will liberate everyone who are at a standstill in ministry. Many denominations teach that in order to receive public recognition for their God ordained ministry, certificates are essential and prevelant. But what does the bible actually teach about Ordinations, Affirmations, and Confirmations.
First let me say this....
Jeremiah 1:5 Before I formed you in the womb, I knew you, before you were born, I sanctified you and anointed you as a prophet to the nations.
Jeremiah, didn't know who he was in God at this time, But neither did any of us until God called us.
I will make this personal.
I found out somethings with this scripture:
1. Before I was even an egg, in my mother's ovaries, God knew me. He knew what I would be doing from the creation of my life, all the way through to reigning with Him.
2. Before I even came out of my mother's womb, God already set me apart.
3. Not only was I set apart for his use, But I was anointed ( touched, caressed, laid hands on, marked, sealed, consecreated, covered, and chosen by God's divine intervention) for His purpose.
4. All of us are prophets by nature declaring the Word of the Lord. Some of us are called and chosen specifically, soley for the office of the Prophet...Many have the gift to prophesy while others just obey God....
5. I am this scripture for everyone....
With all this being said, there was no physical service or paperwork exclusively for this. My name is recorded in the Lambs Book of Life and my achievements are in The Book of Life.
So is yours prayerfully..
Puplic Affirmation of Apostle Elect LaShonda C. Harrell Andrews. December 30, 2010 in Atlantic City.
What does ordained mean to the church? It simply means, being appointed, fixed, established by order or command; invested with ministerial priestly garnments and responsibilities.
Let us go to the Bible and see what thus saith the Lord about being ordained for ministry...I ask that you get your bibles and read the scriptures. I will list them BUT only discuss ones God gave me to speak. Others are for your research.
Exodus 29:29 Aaron passed down garnments for ordination.
Leviticus 16:32 A priest had to be ordained for atonement in the Temple. Food for thought, Jesus atoned for our sins the day of his death. Therefore, the need to be ordained for atonement is no longer in place. Jesus rent the vail, now we can go to the Father for confession and repentance. I don't understand why the catholic church still practice this knowing our Risen Savior died for it.
Levticus 21:10 A dress code to identify who was ordained and who wasn't.
Numbers 3:3 Ordinations were successions.
2 Choronicle 23:18 Ordinations were made by priests, and in this, text a king.
These are just outward appearances for what God already Ordained since before time....
Now I have researched ordinations from the creation of organized religions till present. My findings are all of them had their positives and negatives. There is only one that I'll elaborate on that really caught my attention. Jewish Ordinations are the closest to actual docrine of God. The book of numbers sums up how ordinations are to be held.
According to the early Hebrew Culture, they practiced Semikhah (Hebrew: סמיכה, "laying [of the hands]"), also semichut (Hebrew: סמיכות, "ordination"), or semicha lerabbanut (Hebrew: סמיכה לרבנות, "rabbinical ordination") is derived from a Hebrew word which means to "rely on" or "to be authorized". It generally refers to the ordination of a rabbi within Judaism. In this sense it is the "transmission" of rabbinic authority to give advice or judgment in Jewish law. Also...Classical semikhah refers to a specific type of ordination that according to traditional Jewish teaching, traces a line of authority back to Moses and the seventy elders. Lastly, a distinct meaning of semikhah is the laying of hands upon an offering of a korban ("sacrifice") in the times of the Temple in Jerusalem. Wikipedia...
"Moses spoke to God, saying, 'Let the Omnipotent God of all living souls appoint a man over the community. Let him come and go before them, and let him bring them forth and lead them. Let God's community not be like sheep that have no shepherd.' God said to Moses, 'Take Joshua son of Nun, a man of spirit, and lay your hands on him'. Have him stand before Eleazar the priest and before the entire community, and let them see you commission him. Invest him with some of your splendor so that the entire Israelite community will obey him. Let him stand before Eleazar the priest, who shall seek the decision of the Urim before God on his behalf. By this word, along with all the Israelites and the entire community shall he come and go.' Moses did as God had ordered him. He took Joshua and had him stand before Eleazar the priest and before the entire community. He then laid his hands on him and commissioned him as God had commanded Moses." (Numbers 27:15-23).
Judging from this scripture, where was the paperwork?......Hummm Haaaaa....
Lets sum up what was discussed thus far in two sentences...Only requirement for ordination is the pouring on of oil, garnments, laying on of hands, and a public announcement. NO PAPERWORK NECESSARY. Wow this was a lot to reveal..

The Ministry of Jesus, Peter, and Paul
Some denominations teach in their doctrines, that you have to be confirmed or affirmed for certain offices. For the sake of time, I'll only discuss the ministries of Jesus, the Apostles Peter and Paul.
His first ordination was before God said let there be light. His ordination was prophesied over 100 times in the old testiment by many prophets. But for the sake of time, I'll mention just a few that are important.
Genesis 3:15 And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.
Isaiah 7:14 Therefore the Lord himself will give you a sign: The virgin will be with child and will give birth to a son, and will call him Immanuel.
Isaiah 53:5 But He was wounded for our transgressions, He was bruised for our iniquities: The chastisement of our peace was upon Him; and with his stripes we are healed.
We all know these scriptures, and most should know the interpretations. God himself, ordained Jesus since before time. His ministry was ordained at the fall of man. He is the enmity as mentioned in Genesis. Jesus' ministry at that point was to redeem man back to God. Isaiah 7 confirms that his ministry will be birth from a vigin (I can really go into this whole virgin thing). His affirmation was proclaimed and prophesied in Isaiah 53:5.
Once again I ask, "Where was his paperwork?"
This is a comment I wrote in my sister Prophetess Satin Boykinds Quote on Facebook.
Her quote: "God validates your ministry not man. God chose you, God ordained you, God apppointed you."
My reply: "Loving this topic. Simple ministry(not saying simple as is meaningless) but did Jesus give any of the Apostles a written ordination affirming them as such? See we all look at the great commission as a doctrine for baptism. But there was more to it than that. After we become sons and daughters of God, our first mission, is to teach all that was commanded by Him.
2. We are to evangelize the world. This came way before baptism. Do we need man to confirm this? NO..this is our reasonable service unto God. This is our first order of business after becoming one with Christ.
Who affirmed Jesus? He was affirmed over and over again during his 3 year ministry. His first affirmation was a confirmation to John the Baptist, the very day Jesus was baptized."this is my son in whom I am well pleased." God confirmed that word to John, and John been affirming Jesus before and after baptism. Next affirmation, came from his mother at the wedding. Jesus knew his time for ministry was nigh. He could have turned the water into wine at first. BUT it wasn't until his mother affirmed that it was his time. Another affirmation, Jesus asked his disciples who they thought he was. No one could answer. They all said what others said, he was a prophet. Peter was the only one who got the answer right. It wasn't that Peter actually knew, but was being obedient to God and affirmed Jesus as being the Son of God."
Was confirmed before the rest of the Apostles. That same night, Jesus affirmed Peter when He said, "Upon this rock, I shall build my Temple, and the Gates of hell shall not prevail against it." THUS the beginning of Christianity. When Jesus met his disciples for the very first time, his message was to drop everything and follow him. He ordained the twelve right at the point of which they stood. Did he give them papers? The people of Israel confirmed and affirmed the twelve simply because they walked with Jesus...That is a whole other topic that I really can dig into...
Saul of Tarsus half Jewish and half Roman. I can get scriptural with you all but I just want to get straight to the point..Saul was on his way to Demascus when heard his calling for the first time by Jesus. Jesus knocked him off his high horse gave Saul his commission. This new light caused Saul to be blinded to the former things. Before Saul could begin his ministry, he received his ordination that restored his sight. His ordination was confirmed by God through the Prophet Ananias (Acts chapter 9).
Get this people, his name was still Saul. After his ordination and confirmation, Saul preached in Demascus converting as many as possible. Other disciples were afraid of him, while others took him in. Saul received his new name Paul ( the Apostle to the Gentiles) after his conversion. Barnabas affirmed Apostle Paul and the remainder of the twelve ( those who were still living), confirmed Paul for his ministry....
Again I ask, "Where were Paul's paperwork?"
Paul ordained, confirmed, and affirmed Andronicus and Junia, Timothy, Silas, Apollos and Luke. NONE of them had PAPERWORK......
I have searched the bible for words such as Ordination papers, Confirmation Certificates, Affirmation Notices and words pertaining to...NOWHERE IN THE BIBLE WERE THESE PAPERS NEEDED OR MENTIONED.
There is one scripture that my brother Apostle Trevor Greene pointed out to me...
Ezra chapters 6 and 7. To sum it up, those were papers for rebuilding the Temple that had been siezed by the Babylonian Empire. Names of the priests and Kings were on them as official signatures on the documents. In plain english, those papers were what we know as permits by our county to build a house. This was created by man...Not God...
I would go so far as to say, that all the heads of each family (priests and nonpriests) names were inscribed on a Rod or Staff. That was passed down from generation to generation. This is how Israel remembered their family history. We have those today. We call them Family Trees...
I spent all of my day composing this. The Body of Christ need to understand, we don't need paperwork to prove what God ordained, the prophets confirmed, and the world affirmed.
I know this was long, but had to be shared. I pray that you've all been enlightend. Be Blessed
