Our Life's Journey Is Seldom Easy

Updated on March 26, 2013

Our Life's Journey Is Seldom Easy

This journey of life isn't always easy,

We never know what will be the cost.

We wonder who will finish the course

And how many souls will sadly be lost.

If we could only see into the future,

Know all the pitfalls coming our way,

Then we could detour in our journey,

And out of temptation we could stay.

But would we then have the strength

To attack each trial that comes our way?

I'm sure that God knew what was best

And let us handle life here day by day.

How could we dare question our Maker,

When He put the stars and earth into space?

Someday all questions will be answered

For someday we will see Him Face to face!

Then there will be no need to question

Why at times life often seems so unfair

All things will not even matter to us then

When we enjoy our life in Heaven there.

In God's time our earthly trials are small,

While our Heavenly life will never end.

We must live for Him while here on earth,

He is the One on Whom we can depend!

Clara Kish

On our life's journey we may have many

friends and family but over a period of

time we may find that many of them may

fail you but there is One who will always be

faithful and true .One true friend that will

never forsake us . In our troubles we will

not have to hunt for Him,He is always near.

He knows when we need help even before

we do. Isn't it nice to have a love like that?

If you don't know Him you can go to Him

now in pray .He will be waiting for you!

Hello MsDora, Good to hear from you It is always good to know that I have written something that makes people feel good or to think of what I have written, I feel sure that God gives me these ideas to get to hearts , I don't know how much good I am doing but from some of the comments I feel that I am touching some hearts on here.I feel that is why I am on here. I have loved ones who need The Lord ,as probably a lot of people on here do,. I would love to take them to Him . Love, clara

Hello Mr. Archer, I am glad that I wrote something that you needed at that time. I hope these poems get to people's hearts , The Lord ,gives me the idea and I try to put it in a poem .I say they are God's and my poems. I see you are from Missouri , I don't suppose you were related to J.L. Archer who was an Evangelist . He was originally from some place in Missouri . I guess He was very well known. Just curious .Good to hear from you . Clara

Thank you ,Blossom, we have all been there at one time or another.Even in childhood and sometimes we never seem to out grow that habit . at times we will just have to tell ourselves that Jesus has never failed us and when He gives us that wonderful Peace that can only come from Him we have to wonder why we were so concerned . Satan is never very far away trying to find a way back in your life!

That is so true, our earthly trials are often small and when we look back on them they can seem really trivial, but at the time we build them up in our minds and then the molehills seem to grow into giant mountains.

Amen Clara. He is a miracle worker and He told us to bring our burdens to Him. His yoke is light. Thank you for your comment. God Bless

Hello ,Karen, Nobody ever told us that life would always be easy ,there is always something ready to throw the monkey wrench into things to mess your day up.At times it may be just for a day and other times a long drawn out process that will cause a lot of trouble for us ,if we let it.That is the problem , sometimes we have something happen that we think may destroy our life forever , but if we have Jesus to turn to he will take charge of the situation and you will often wonder why you was so concerned about it .Just remember Jesus is a miracle worker if we will just let Him into our lives. We must finish the race, and with His help we can do it. Love, Clara

This is so true! If we finish the race, we are going to spend all eternity with our Heavenly Father! Amen!
