Syria : A Country at War

Syria is located on the eastern shores of the Mediterranean Sea. It´s population numbers about 17 million people of Syrian Arab, Aramaic and Kurdish descent and some smaller ethnic groups. Syria´s strategic geographical location and it´s natural resources, among which oil is most important, have made the country target of rising foreign interest. Prior to 2011, the country was on the verge of developing the economic sectors of natural gas and tourism, to become more independent from the oil and agricultural sectors. Although in comparison to Europe or the US, Syria was not a wealthy country, but there was peace and relative order. Whatever justified criticism there may have been on the Syrian government, the pre-war circumstances were a paradise in comparison to the current situation. Similar to all the so-called Color- and Arabic Spring Revolutions, which all were initiated and financed by forces alien to these countries. None of these countries is now better off than before their wars and regime changes. Chaos and continuous unrest reigns in all of them. The same is true for the country of Iraq after the lawless attack by international forces. Today, only one thing works reliably in these countries, which is the exploitation of natural resources by international conglomerates.

I visited Syria on a lengthy tour in the early 2000s and can confirm that, relative to Middle Eastern standards, the majority of the people were able to make a decent living. In 2011, a civil war broke loose, again initiated and financed by foreign interests. Since then, the country has become a living hell on earth, with hundred thousands of people dead and wounded or forced into refugee camps abroad, the infrastructure completely devastated, the economy in ruins and housing destroyed in vast areas.

The most innocent and heart-wrenching of the victims are the non-combatant civil population and especially the children. The children of Syria are the prime targets of this week’s love transmission, together with all other people, victims and perpetrators alike.

To be clear, those who pull the triggers and those who give the orders and those who perfidiously plan and finance this turmoil, are victims of their own deeds too.

They have to live, like everybody else, in the aura of pain, destruction and violence which they help to infest the planet with and which will eventually swap to their doorsteps as well. But this is nothing in comparison with the damage they do to their immortal soul, which will, after they enter the non-physical dimensions, be permeated with all of their victim’s pain, sorrow and desperation. Also, their persona, which was able to walk over the corpses of the innocent, will be blatantly perceivable to all beings in the non-physical. They will no longer be able to hide behind a mask of honorability, behind large mansions and huge bank accounts.

In order to raise the emotional charge of the transmission, go to Google image search and type: “wounded children Syria”. If these pictures don´t raise a surge of compassion in you, then nothing will. But be warned, these are very graphic images. If you have to weep, go on, let it flow. This is exactly the emotional charge which will make the love transmission effective and powerful.

Now, here is this week’s shower of love and compassion towards the children and people of Syria:

Experienced meditators may use their own favorite trance induction and then pick up from the line tagged “payload section”. If you are an experienced meditator, but not familiar with mind relaxation techniques, you may also include the “mind relaxation section”. Novice meditators may begin here:

You may have read this text to you by someone that you trust and whose voice you like. You may also record the text and listen to the playback. The time interval between each line of induction should be between 3 and 5 seconds. Some relaxing music while you are listening will support you. Later I may create a recording of the meditations for download.

If there is a gifted composer of relaxing tunes who wants to participate in the creation of these meditation exercises, I would welcome any piece of relaxing royalty free music which then may be included into the recording. Also, if there is a professional speaker, with a well rounded voice, who has some idea how such a text has to be read, namely gently, softly and slowly, and who wants to make a contribution towards this cause, is welcome to read this text and send me a recording.

Physical Relaxation Section

Each period indicates a pause of one second.

Here we go:

Lie flat on your back...with your arms loosely on your sides...and make sure..that you are lying..perfectly comfortable...Good.....

Promise yourself...to dedicate the time of following meditation..completely to the children and all of the people of Syria.....

You are aware...that there is all the time..in the world...to take care of things.. after this meditation.....

This is quality time...just from yourself..for the children and people of Syria, everything else..can easily wait until later.....

You may want..to adjust your position...wigling a little back and forth...until you are sure..that you are perfectly comfortable...and your body is fully supported.....

You can softly..and fully..surrender to this experience...and you will be completely..safe and secure.....

First..you are going to tighten..the muscles of your body...starting with your feet... working all the way up..through your body..and holding the tension...for a few seconds.....

Do not..use more force..in tensing your muscles...than feels comfortable.....

Now..gently..start.with tightening..the muscles of your feet...curl down your toes...and holding the tension.....

Continue to contract..your calves..by pulling your feet upward...and holding the tension.....

Now..flex your thighs...and holding the tension.....

Continue..with tightening you lower back..and go on...holding the tension...

Flex the muscles your tummy...your upper back...and your chest...just holding the tension.....

Clench your fists..contract the muscles of your forearms...and your upper arms...and just hold the tension.....

Flex the muscles of your neck...and the muscles of your face...continuing to holding the tension.....

Holding all the tension...until the count of three...you realize..how hard..how tense..your body can be.....

One.

Two.

Three.

Easily..relax your face and your neck..your upper arms..and your forearms..

your hands..and your fingers..your upper back..and your chest..your lower back..and your tummy..your thighs..and your calves..your feet..and your toes..completely letting go..of all the tension.....

Feeling..how good it feels..to completely relax.....

Now..in your imagination..you take a tour..through your body..making sure..that all the tension..gets completely released.....

Easily..relax your face and your neck..letting slowly go..of all the tension.....

Sinking..deeper and deeper..into this warm and tender tranquility.....

As your breath flows..deeply and regularly..in...... and out....in......and out....in......and out....

Slowly..letting go..of your upper arms..and your forearms.....

As you breathe..deeply and regularly..in...... and out....in......and out....in......and out....

And then..let all the tension go..slowly..from your hands..and your fingers.....

As you can feel..each finger..as it relaxes..one by one..from the inner..to the outer finger..one by one.....

Sinking..deeper and deeper..into this feeling..of completely letting go.....

Gently..release all tension..in your upper back..and your chest.....

Sinking deeper and deeper...into this soft..and friendly..calmness.....

Smoothly..letting go..of your lower back..and your tummy.....

Sinking deeper..and deeper..into this kind..and comforting..stillness.....

As your breath flows..deeply and regularly..in...... and out....in......and out....in......and out....

Gracefully..soften your thighs..and your calves..completely letting go..of all the tension.....

Quietly..take out all strain..out of your feet..and your toes.....

Letting slowly go..of all the tension.....

Now… you are going to release..your mind..from the bondage..of compulsive thinking...

As you breathe..deeply and regularly..in…..and out....in….. and out....in….. and out....

Gently..focus your attention..on a place..inside or outside of your mind..where all of your thoughts emerge.

Be now aware..how a little thought..about something..forms in your mindspace...

Now..instead of thinking this thought..open the grip of your mind.. and easily let the thought go…and dissolve...

Softly..releasing this thought..from the grip of the mind...

Another little thought..which may appear..in the vast space of your mind..simply dissolves.. as you let it go..and fades away..like little white clouds…in an endless blue sky...

Any little thought…which may appear..in the vast space of your mind..simply dissolves and fades away…like a puddle of water on a sandy beach...

Gently..and completely…release your mind…and let all of your thoughts…drop by the wayside...

Enjoy..the state.. of no single thought..clouding the mirror..of your mind...

None of these thoughts..are important now...

There is enough time…later…to think these thoughts...

Feel…how soft and clear…your mind has already become...

Silently..you glide upward..back to the surface..feeling the fresh air..entering your lungs.. as you breathe..deeply and regularly..in..and out…in..and out…in..and out...

At the count of 3..you are wide awake again..and completely relaxed..refreshed and rejuvenated...
