Through out life journey's we face many challenges, encounter numerous road blocks, push through the struggles and overcome adversity. In the midst of these battles we falter, not quite sure if we have the gumption to survive. Our first obstacle is waking up each morning and beginning another day putting one foot in front of the other, hoping those steps lead us in the right direction. Right or wrong, any direction we choose know that we aren't alone, God is always by our side, days we believe we can't go another step further he holds us in the palm of his hand for as long as we need.

One New Years Eve I was driving home with my husband and two daughters, as I was approaching a green light, I hesitated for a moment and not more than a few seconds after, a car ran the red light. If I hadn't hesitated, I would have been been broadsided on the passenger side and who knows what could have happened. Those are the kind of moments I consider miracles. God's hand reached down and stopped our car for those precious few seconds that ultimately saved our lives.

The day of the 9/11 tragedy two of my brothers were due to travel, one to the World Trade Center to meet with a Brokerage firm he had business dealings with, the other to California on a business trip. My brother going to New York delayed his departure, he would have been on Flight 11 and my other brother's weekly business trip schedule had changed a few weeks prior. If his company hadn't changed his schedule he would also have been on Flight 11. In fact, he knew both he pilots, stewardesses and two of his co workers that perished on that ill fated flight. God apparently had other plans for them.

One night a smoke detector in my basement kept going off and I didn't get much sleep. The following morning I called a local heating and AC contractor to come by and check it out because their was also an odd scent coming from the basement. When he arrived he told me to get everyone up and out of the house, open all the windows and doors because my furnace had shut down and the house was filling with carbon monoxide. The smoke detector that keep going off, saved our lives because no one went into a deep sleep, if they had, they would have died. Furthermore, the smoke detector was installed incorrectly which evidently saved our lives.

These are just a few of the miracles that have changed my life, saved my life and left me believing that opening my heart to God allowed me to realize these were indeed miracles.

There are also the unanswered prayers, or prayers I thought were unanswered. I was wrong of course, God always answers our prayers yet in the way he feels they need to be answered. If someone asks to win the lottery and the next day they get a job offer, that's God way of answering them just not in the way they wanted. God gives us what we need because what we want isn't always what we think we need. It's not always easy to realize that. Sometimes it takes awhile and then suddenly we see that God has been there and we were to blind to see he was taking care of us in his way. Heavens knows our way isn't always the right way.

By Letting Go & Letting God my once hectic, out of control life has calmed down and I am blessed with an inner peace I need thought would be possible. So, believe in God, give him your troubles, lay them at his feet and he will take care of you.

There are no coincidences. If we take the time to really see, as you do Catz, we will see that miracles surround us in every-day life.

A very thoughtful and thought-provoking Hub - thanks!

Then you confuse your readers. "Unanswered" means just that. God will never leave any prayer unanswered.

By unanswered prayers I mean that there are times they aren't answered the way we want them to be, they are answered the God knows they need to be.
