Wiccan & Pagan Fertility Spells - How to Cast Spells for Fertility

Updated on November 11, 2014

Babies are one of the greatest gifts a person can ever receive. They bring happiness and light, and remind us of just how blessed we are.

However, some people have a difficult time becoming pregnant. Infertility can cause substantial stress to any couple trying to conceive. Luckily in today's time, there are so many options to use that may help with this issue.

Magic can always be used to try to help increase fertility. Fertility spells can be very simple or complex. But so long as the caster truly wants and is ready for what they are asking for, there is always a chance of it happening.

Caution When Performing Fertility Spells

Like all spells, fertility spells can be used in a wrong way or for bad purposes. Some people cast fertility spells in order to try to get pregnant to convince their partner to stay with them, while others do it when it is just not a good time in their lives for a baby.

Before casting a fertility spell, ask yourself a few questions. Am I ready for a baby? Is my partner ready for a baby? Are we at a point in our relationship that it would be okay to have a baby? Can we financially support a baby? Am I only wanting a baby to fix my relationship with my partner? Am I emotionally prepared for a baby (this never happens by the way)?

The worst thing any Witch can possibly do is cast a fertility spell in order to get pregnant with the hope that it will salvage a broken relationship. This is the worst type of situation to bring a child in to and it often fails. Only cast a fertility spell when you are really, truly ready for a baby.

Recommended Tools to Use

When it comes to fertility, seeking out a fertility goddess is one of the best things a Witch can do to increase her chances of conception. There are several goddesses that represent fertility and motherhood. A few fertility goddesses are: Freyja, Epona, Isis, Freyr, Gaia, Danu, Brigit, Hera, and Frigg.

During my first pregnancy, I sought out Gaia. Gaia is an amazing goddess. She is a mother figure and is a protector of pregnancies and infants. Getting a small statue of Gaia, or something that represents Gaia for your altar, is a great way to connect to her.

There are several herbs that are associated with fertility. They can be used for cooking, burning as incense, as bath oil, and so many other things. A few herbs associated with fertility are: red raspberry leaf, nettle, false unicorn root, geranium, hawthorn, mustard, myrtle, and olive.

Candle magic is a very popular thing to practice for fertility spells. There are really only two colors that can be truly used for fertility spells, but any will do if the Witch feels a connection to that particular color. Green is the most common candle color used for fertility. It represents growth, fertility, and attainment of goals. Brown is also a good color to use when you are trying to get pregnant. Brown represents family, unity, hearth and home, and bonding.

TipToeChick's Introduction to Herbs

In this article are a few examples of fertility spells. These spells are not intended to actually be used by anyone, but are merely examples of how to set up a fertility spell. These are not spells that I have personally used, as I believe that no Witch should ever reveal his or her spells to another.

Just like with every other spell, the best fertility spells are the ones created by the Witch his or her self. The Witch knows what he or she wants and they know what their spell should say. If the Witch puts his or her heart and energy into the spell, it is far more effective than a spell created by another Witch.

A Spell to Help You Become Pregnant

Here is an example of a spell for helping you become pregnant:

With this spell,

I ask for a child,

the time is right,

my life is set,

I ask of the Goddess,

for this one request.

A Spell to Help Your Partner Become Pregnant

Here is an example of a spell to use if you wish for your partner to become pregnant:

With this flame,

I ask that my mate and I be blessed,

with a gift from the Earth Mother,

the gift of a child,

I ask that my mate's womb be filled,

with a happy and healthy child.

A Spell to Help Protect Your Pregnancy

This is an example of a spell to use to ask for protection over your pregnancy:

Blessed Earth Mother,

thank you for this gift,

please protect the child in my womb,

keep him (her) safe inside until the time is right,

and let his (her) journey onto Earth be a smooth ride.

I'm so sorry you and your husband had such a hard time. Glad it finally worked, though. Thanks for reading and I hope you have an easier time if you guys try again. :)

Hmm I could have used this when I was trying for my last baby. It took us over a year to get pregnant and one early miscarriage. Very interesting and I'll have to refer to it if I decide to try for a third.
