Mary, The Virgin Of Virgins, Our Mother

Updated on January 12, 2012

(I want to send the following writing to all of my Sisters and Brothers in Praesidium Holy Virgin of Virgins of Saint Vincent LIEM Parish in Calgary as my special thanks for all their support and prayer.)

God, the Almighty Father prepared the Virgin Mary to be the worthy mother of His son. Then, He made and kept Mary sinless from the first moment of her conception

In the Constitution Ineffabilis Deus of 8 December, 1854, Pope Pius IX pronounced and defined that the Blessed Virgin Mary "in the first instance of her conception, by a singular privilege and grace granted by God , in view of the merits of Jesus Christ , the Saviour of the human race , was preserved exempt from all stain of original sin."

(Catholic Encyclopedia)

Today, December 8,2009 ,the Catholic Church around the world from coast to coast celebrated The Solemnity Immaculate Conception of Mary who is the mother of Jesus and also our mother as well as the mother of all Catholic people.

I know for a long time ago when I only was an eleven-year-old student in a Catholic Monastery that the Holy Mary had a special position in the God Father’s plan, Mary also was the beloved daughter of God The father; the wonderful mother of God Jesus The Son; and the Temple and the Co-operator of God The Holy Spirit. In general, Mary had the closest relationship with The Divine Trinity.

Mary is the bridge between The Heaven and The Earth, God poured all of his amazing graces and blessings through Mary before come to us. The first miracle which Jesus performed on the earth at The Canaan wedding Jesus did by the request of Mary; Jesus is the best son, so He always did everything for Mary’s request. Mary always and ready pray for us if we come to Her and ask for Her intercession. I as well as many others got much of God’s blessing through Mary’s intercession, and from this reason we called Her with the beautiful name:” Our Mother Of Perpetual Help”.

Are you happy if you ever have an extra mother beside your mother by birth? I and many other Catholic people had this lucky one: we really had one mother on the earth and one mother on the Heaven who is Mary, the mother of Jesus also. We called Mary is our mother since Jesus confirmed officially on the cross before his death in the Calvary hill with Saint John about Mary:

“This is your Mom”. And from that moment Mary officially became the mother of the Church as well as all humans on the earth. Mary was our mother from 2000 years ago…However; we believe and accept her as our real mother that depends on our action of appreciates.

So, let us come together before the picture of Mary, our Mother Of Perpetual Help and say that:

-“Remember, Oh most gracious Virgin Mary, that never was it known, that anyone who fled to your protection, implored your help, or sought your intercession was left unaided.

Inspired with this confidence we fly unto you …Oh Virgin of virgins…, our mother. To you do we come. Before you we stand…sinful and sorrowful…, Oh mother of the world Incarnate, despise not our petitions, but in your mercy, hear and answer our requests. Amen. “
