Physical Effects of Homosexuality

Updated on June 10, 2013

EFFECTS OF SEXUAL ACTIVITY

Did you know that men who have sex with men are 17 times more likely to develop anal cancer than heterosexual men? This is according to the CDC.

As a matter of fact, people who participate in anal sex and/or have multiple sex partners are far more likely to contract diseases such as AIDS and infections that can lead to anal cancer. Certain cancers are more common among lesbians, specifically breast cancer and cancers of the reproductive organs.

Studies and research show that Hepatitis A, B and C (contagious liver diseases) are more prominent in men who have male partners and/or multiple partners. Hepatitis A and B can be treated with drugs and medicine. Hepatitis C has no vaccine and is not curable.

Both men and women suffer from STI’s (socially transmitted infections) as a result of participating in anal or oral sex and sex with multiple partners. This infections and diseases are too many to list here, but can cause permanent damage to the reproductive organs.

Even if a person does not get cancer or the deadly diseases, the prospect of contracting the viruses and bacteria from people who have had sex with other people, who have had sex with other people (you get the idea) is frightening. Participating in homosexuality is taking a huge gamble with your physical body and one’s future health and happiness.

For more information, see the CDC website.

WHY DO THESE DISEASES AND INFECTIONS OCCUR?

First, the natural design of our bodies tells us what is healthy. In any area of life, if an item is not used according to its design, the item can be broken or hurt.

For example, a butter knife is designed to spread butter on bread. If one tries to use it to drive in a screw, the blade will be bent. A car is designed to transport people. If one tries to use it as a battering ram or a truck hauling a heavy load, the car will be damaged.

If we think logically about this, it is obvious. Would we put sensitive parts of our body in a pile of poop? NO—but that is essentially what homosexuals do when participating in anal sex. Would we intentionally drink urine? NO – but people put their tongues and mouths on the area we pee from. It does not make sense to put ourselves intentionally in harm’s way. These areas are full of bacteria and waste that our bodies get rid of. Homosexual activity is equal to putting sensitive parts of our body in someone else’s unflushed toilet.

Second, research tells us that most people who participate in homosexual activity have sex with multiple partners over time. The more people a person has sex with, the greater chances are of the person contracting diseases and infections. Multiple sex partners is not wise for heterosexuals or homosexuals.

EFFECTS OF STRESS

Stress is emotional, yet it shows its effects on the body as well. It is well documented that when under stress people suffer some of the following: heart problems, sleeping disorders, headaches, stomach problems, irritability, mood changes, drug and alcohol abuse, and more. Stress reduces our immune system and wears our bodies down. Those living a homosexual lifestyle suffer great stress. They have chosen to live in a state of rebellion against their own bodies and their Creator.

WHY DOES GOD CARE ABOUT HOMOSEXUALITY?

God instructs us to not participate in homosexual activities because he loves us. He wants us to have healthy bodies and healthy lives.

God does tell us to love each other. It is possible to love a person of the same gender without having sex with them. Deep committed relationships are possible and can even be healthy. However, sexual activity with the same gender is not healthy, physically or emotionally.

Scientists and doctors are just now discovering the negative effects of the homosexual lifestyle on the physical body. God, however, knew this information thousands of years ago and gave instructions to avoid these diseases and sicknesses.

If we would follow the instructions given--simply obey--our life would be more peaceful, healthy, and joyful.

DID YOU KNOW?

Do you believe there should be more education and awareness of the cancers and diseases caused by homosexual activity?
