Pisces With Aries Compatibility

Updated on April 2, 2019

Water and Fire – Aries and Pisces Love Relationship

When Aries and Pisces come together for any kind of relationship, the results can be dynamic and also incredibly fiery. Both can be imaginative and at the same time cerebral, which can lead to brooding people and sometimes resentment. On the other hand, they can be good for one another and an Aries Pisces relationship will never be labelled as boring.

Aries and Pisces in Relationships

Aries is a strong, impulsive sign that will follow their instincts without a second thought to the outcome or consequences to others. They tend to be the leader and will take the initiative when they find someone that is attractive to them. Their confident nature will see them launch into pursuit without a thought. This may seem like a negative when their ‘prey’ is gentle Pisces, but a side effect of their strong, confident nature is that they feel an innate need to protect those they care for. They will go to the ends of the earth to look after their Piscean partner.

Pisces and Aries in Relationships

On the other hand, Pisces tend to be much quieter and more focused internally. On the surface an Aries partner for a Piscean may seem like an unlikely match, but when romance or love is involved, their contrasting attributes can complement each other to make a strong bond. As mentioned previously, Aries people tend to take the role of protector in a relationship but that’s not to say Pisceans won’t look after their partner. Piscean people have a deeply intuitive understanding of other people’s needs and will use this to act as a safe haven for the hectic characteristics of Aries.

Water and Fire

The danger when Pisces and Aries get together is that Piscean people are very intuitive, both as a person and lover. Aries are less so and led by an impulsive nature that can lead to them neglecting the needs of their Pisces partner who wants to have their love reciprocated. Pisces are very empathetic and that can lead to them becoming a bit of a doormat as they give themselves completely to their partners. Aries are generally not a sign to reciprocate this kind of devotion.

The main problem an Aries/Pisces love match will find is that disagreements can be difficult to navigate. Warrior Aries tends to go headfirst into battle, not caring about others feelings and how their words and actions affect others. Pisces men and women on the other hand, have a tendency to disappear at the first sight of conflict and become passive and unresponsive. However, a Pisces/Aries couple can overcome this. The Aries partner will need to keep tabs of their brash nature or their beloved Fish may swim away forever. Pisces need to be direct with their Ram because they can take it!

But How Compatible Are Pisces and Aries?

Well Aries is a Fire Sign and Pisces is a Water Sign, which may not seem like the best combination. These opposite elements can create issues for one another, but they can combine to make a great team. When everything is in sync between a Pisces/Aries couple, their personality traits, although on opposite ends of the emotional spectrum, can really complement each other. The calmness of a Piscean can help the more anxious Aries relax and begin to listen to the needs of others. Aries can teach their Pisces partner to get out into the world, to think a little more externally, and take a few risks that can lead to happiness for both partners.

Pisces men and women don’t have an urge to be top dog. They enjoy working with others when required, but certainly don’t need to direct proceedings or lead from the front foot. This tends to be a good thing, since Aries men and women like to lead and love being a leader. This leader/follower dynamic can really work in a relationship, but care must be taken to prevent the Aries partner from becoming too overbearing for Pisces.

There’s no doubt that an Aries/Pisces relationship can be a little difficult. It’s not impossible to navigate, and can lead to partnerships that not only complement each other but temper some of their sign’s weak traits. If they can work out their differences, this can be a fun exciting relationship.
