Planned Pregnancy- No such things as Accidents when it comes to God

Updated on July 15, 2011

Planned Pregnancy

When two people come together and desire children they attempt to become pregnant. For those of you who do not know, some couples do this after marriage and in most case are successful after a few attempts. This can be describe as a planned pregnancy. A lot of people do prefer to be ready, and secure in their lives before they bring a child into this world. For some couples having a child is a great blessing, for truly children are a gift from God.

There are cases when circumstances might not be right, such as situations of financial instability, and or lack of commitment of the two involved like before marriage, or being in the middle of an education, this to which can cause a couple to be quite surprised when they come to find out that they are having a baby. Couples that may not have been trying nor ready for a child are normally caught of guard, lacking preparation in so many area's which in some case as sad as it maybe do lead to abortion.

Sometimes a pregnancy may be from a tragic happening, such as a rape, in which even though it maybe hard for the mother to keep the child or endure a pregnancy, do to the trauma caused, there are other options other than abortion, that can give the child an opportunity at life and be apart of a loving family. Adoption can be an amazing alternative in which a family that may not be able to have children, can experience the blessedness of having children. Taking this tragedy and turning it around to bring some good about by bringing about something incredible for another.

No accidents what so ever...

For every human being brought into this world, God has a plan and a purpose. When it comes to a life there are in no way accidents.”For by Him all things were created, both in the heavens and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones or dominions or rulers or authorities—all things have been created through Him and for Him.” Col 1:16 NASB

I'm not saying that a rape is in anyway God's plan for an individual, but that God can in turn, turn the bad of any given situation and produce good from it. “And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. “ Romans 8:28 NASB

A rape is a product of sin. Sin has not been God's plan but it does happen. Abortion is neither God's desired plan for anyone to have to experience. Abortion is a form of murder, like it or not it is what it is, putting to death a growing life. God does forgive, and has forgiven many for such a choice. It is extremely sad to know that so many lives have ended and where not given the choice or opportunity to live life. God created man for His purpose, though sin entered the world it is not God's plan for you and I to continue in sin. He has made a way through Jesus Christ for us to experience and embrace His true plan and intent for our existence. That is a life filled with love, in the care, and in fellowship with the creator of all things, having a relationship with Him.

While living in a world filled with sin and seeing the effects of sin, or rather what I would like to call sin in motion, He does give us the ability and power to rise about such things and make right choices living in fellowship with Him.

God's will to be Discovered.

In so many Lives God has made Himself know. He reveals Himself to His people in the most amazing ways and shows them His faithfulness and revelation of His character. When It comes to each and every life, there are in no way when it comes to God, accidents! As our lives unfold we are drawn to God, and when we come to faith in Christ, God begins to reveal His intent and desire for our lives. Truly his will is more pleasurable in knowing Him,than what I could set out in and of my own accord. His way Is the best way. In His word He has laid out instructions for our lives. In His word He address pretty much ever aspect of life to help us gain understanding in how to conduct ourselves here on earth, while we live here, in the short amount of time we are given in this world.

God's will is to be discovered, sort of like a treasure hunt. Along this journey of life lessons we come to different roads that have downfalls, hardships, encouragements, and other things that produce growth in us. At the time we may not understand what or why we are going through somethings, but God knows the end intended result as we come to discover His will and purpose as we walk it out. At times, some things can be quite difficult, and in other instances quite easy sailing. All in all, God is in control and when it comes to You and Me, in our lives there are no accidents. Everything in His time, for His purpose, for our growth and to His Glory....

God Bless.

I understand what you have shared and thank you. I am sorry for the situation with your friend. What I was saying concerning the topic as stated that through such terrible things that God can bring about good. Sin does happen and yet God can still intervene to take the evil of what has happened and bring about some good.

Also to repay evil with evil is not the answer, because such has happened to some one, that they would also have to live with the experience and on top of that live with the experience of a murder of a innocent child.. Those things will haunt them for the rest of their lives..

It is a hard subject to speak on.. To be sensitive to the hurts, emotions, and anger that someone has been through is what i would aim to do. May God's compassion be great toward all victims of such crimes, HE hates the effects of sin in and of itself for what it does to people... God bless and thanks for sharing...

With all due respect I have to disagree with regards to the rape scenario. You said even though it may be hard for the mother to keep the child... Really? It "might" be hard? I have fortunately not been a victim of this crime but I know someone personally who was. I would not expect any woman to have to endure a pregnancy that came from rape. Having a constant visual reminder? Having questions from people asking who the father is? Having people judge her thinking that she is a loose careless young girl who got herself knocked up? No thanks. In this situation I strongly see abortion as a reasonable choice.

I also don't understand how you can say God has a plan for everyone but then say God doesn't plan for anyone to get raped? How can both of those work? You say children are truly a gift from God. Why would God want a child created from sin? Again I mean no disrespect. Thank you for sharing your views.
