Plato, Jesus, and Micky Dee - Still Crazy After All These Years

Updated on October 25, 2012

"Whatever you do unto the least of these, you do unto me."

Why this election is so important:

Crazy, I guess I am,

To some no doubt.

But there are many things,

I’m not crazy about.

I’m not crazy about Wall Street.

I’m not crazy about Hollywood.

I’m not crazy about athletes,

And politicians are just no good.

I’m not crazy about democrats,

Who pretend they’re open-minded.

The right and left poke out eyes.

Both parties keep us blinded.

Republicans swear,

They’re on moral ground,

But both right and left,

Are prostitutes, I’ve found.

How can I explain?

Can I write a line,

That can paint,

A picture to define,

What goes through,

A simple mind,

Sans pride and snide,

And being unkind?

And how can I,

Convey to you,

All that you,

Will misconstrue?

We are merely,

Products of our belief,

Molded and sculpted,

By joy and grief.

A window opens here.

A door closes there.

Life is so cold,

When we’re laid bare.

Where does truth lie?

When does truth lie?

And how does truth matter,

Between you and I?

Our own reality,

Is what we see.

And is your world,

One, two, or 3-D?

Parallel worlds,

Can and do coincide,

But for when,

They vigorously collide.

Yes, I’m still crazy,

After all these years,

Not understanding your fears,

But cloaked in tears.

Why this election is so important:

There are Supreme Court Justices that may be replaced.

Also on the horizon of American concern are:

  • Health Care
  • Medicaid
  • Medicare
  • Social Security
  • Economy
  • Housing foreclosures
  • Lack of affordable housing
  • Rising costs of college
  • Energy policy
  • Immigration Reform
  • Taxes
  • Terrorism

Most of these concerns will not be addressed properly. Some of these have NOTHING to do with the wellbeing or bloodshed of the innocent around planet Earth.

Oh my, I almost forgot the proverbial chestnuts of abortion, gay marriage, and no doubt a few others that will be “important”.

No – this election is not important if your choices are democrat and/or republican.

These two parties are of one party – the CORPORATE PARTY.

These two parties have nothing to do with justice as Supreme Justices are not supreme nor having a lot to do with true justice.

Examples are the Florida vote fraud of several elections as well as Ohio vote fraud. But there are many vote frauds.

But I can take Americans on tours of injustice if American voters truly cared about justice, elevating mankind, etc.

But our prisons are a private industry.

Our injustice system is merely a treadmill and conveyor belt of punishment for the poor but seldom for the true beasts of society who travel the world inflicting their excavation of resources and souls.

What about Henry Kissinger?

What about the Koch brothers?

What about Art Pope?

What about the endless line of names that could be added to this list? I’d be glad to show you around.

What about riches being wasted on “think tanks” that devise strategies against the poor?

It is also a fact that poor high-school graduates are more inclined to serve in the military and these kids are more patriotic than all political voices. Yet they will only be appreciated with utterances, parades, and bumper stick charades.

Some Americans will support charities for all sorts of needs.

There will be homes built through Habitat For Humanity.

Where is the Habitat For Veterans?

And why shouldn’t all people have a guaranteed home?

Against abortion? For babies?

Why are there not protests against the Armed Services recruiters at high-schools?

Want equal rights for gays?

Why not equal taxation and privileges for single people who have enough burdens with being lonely and outcasts?

Why should perks be for married people and not all people?

Why shouldn’t all the citizens of a country serve their fellow citizens as our soldiers serve the citizens?

Why shouldn’t all citizens have health-care equal to Veterans health-care?

Is the health-care for Veterans inferior?

Why is it? Why shouldn’t the same health-care for Veterans be good enough for Obama Bin Romney?

My spirituality, my code of conduct, my humanity requires me to be of and for all the people of planet Earth.

"Whatever you do to the least of these, you do to me!"

I have studied history.

I have studied the political parties.

Both "parties" have proven themselves unworthy of following.

Honest candidates are ostracized - as I am ostracized.

I voted for Ross Perot. The democrats and republicans said he was not an "electable candidate".

I voted for Ralph Nader. The republicans and democrats said he was "not electable".

I voted for Ron Paul. The democrats and republicans have again turned their backs on the truth.

This is just another election for "home-owners".

This is just another election for the educated who have blinded themselves and refuse to learn anything new.

This is just another election for or against abortion.

But for the vast majority of people of planet Earth, in America, in the military, in prisons, in their ghettos, in their housing projects, in their poverty, in their hopelessness - this is just another election to wash the slate clean for the real criminals who will remain free to terrorize EARTH.

This is just another false election.

I have been proven without any doubt that republicans are just as immoral as democrats.

Democrats are just as immoral as republicans.

Either "party" is just as inhuman, cold, and ill-informed as the other.

Unlike the "presidential debates" - I invite all scrutiny of what I write.

I invite all who will dare to "LISTEN" and RESEARCH - prove me wrong.

But I submit that neither republican nor democrat will research facts but will merely collect data to posture the biased belief of each.

The US "injustice system" will never be scrutinized by the lawyers these parties elect:

The Falsely Accused And Wrongly Imprisoned

I started to write a piece here....saved what I had written, unpublished of course. I'm almost of a mind to trash it, and my presence here. Feel free to contact me. Also have a profile, tagged dot com/writer33. Posting long pieces is difficult there because of space, but not because of some technical censorship as is in place here.

It is a sad state of affairs here. There are many unexplained occurrences. There is no new news on these pages so it's interesting how "they" determine "repetitiveness". If one has new information - it is not welcome if your "news" differs from their old news or solidified minds.

Hi Micky. This is to reply to your reply to me on your 9/11 piece. I couldn't answer there because it kept locking up my PC. I ran into a similar problem with Linked-in, starting with an international relations group run by a lobbyist, Jeff Taylor. And when I challenged, my posts were sent into a purgatory for "review" which stayed there and never saw the light of day. Eventually I could not post there at all. You can reach me: writersbloc33 at yahoo dot com. Wrote a long note to hub which they kindly answered, that as a journalist I might not fit here. Hope we can connect. With best regards, Jon

I share your disillusionment with this electoral process. Even more today than in campaigns past. Maybe that's because I'm getting older and seeing life differently.

When I was younger, I voted to my party, because that's the way I was raised. We were auto workers, office workers, democrats to the bone, believers in the power of unions to make life better for workers.

We've run amuck. We've put our trust in others who we think speak for us, only to be disappointed time and time again.

I feel a need to go to some outlying island in the Pacific, wear grass skirts, and live on fish. There's got to be one of those places there, still today.

But that's not my life. I wish it were...I really want to wear that grass skirt and live on fish. That would be easy.
