Power of Believing

Updated on December 3, 2013

Believe It

hold on
hold on

There is power in believing but it requires consistent belief. Suppose you had a specific desire or a problem that needed to be solved. Can you believe that you already have the solution? Can you maintain that belief until it materializes? That is the true test. A lot of people say that they can believe, but maintaining that belief with no signs of help in sight is another story. Unfortunately, that is what is required. You must be able to "keep believing" until you receive what you want.

Nothing to lose

Believing doesn't cost you anything. Why do most people have difficulty maintaining a belief when there is no hope in sight? Because we want instant relief. Sometimes it is instant and at other times it's not. Depending on what you want, it may just take more time. What you are looking for is a certain idea. Some people actually miss the right idea when it comes. It can be due to fear, or a lack of trust. A certain physical action may be required to solve the problem. If that action is not taken, the problem continues. Seeking may be required. Sometimes you have to search books or the internet for the perfect solution. You may have to ask certain people who have the qualifications for their expertise.

Understanding Thoughts

Your thoughts have energy. If you fix a certain thought in your mind with lots of repetition, strong emotion and belief, you can create miracles! If you study Yoga or Mental Science, you will discover that thoughts have great power. In fact, the more intense you are about the solution, the quicker the solution arrives. You will trigger what is known as "siddhi powers" in yoga. This power belongs to the supernatural realm. It is beyond your conscious thinking. It is beyond the appearances and your senses. Siddhi Powers can do the impossible. Whatever appears to be a difficulty is nothing to this power. This power can even overturn what we understand as the laws of nature.

Supernatural Assistance

There are many ways to receive supernatual aid. Prayer is the most common way. A deep, sincere prayer is oftentimes enough to cause an instant miracle. That prayer has the power to reach the minds of people or the very person who will help you. It may be a friend, a family member or a total stranger.

Another method of tapping into enormous power is visualization. You can actually visualize the perfect solution or outcome that you desire and cause it to happen. By merely imagining a scene that would take place after your desire was attained, you can bring it into existence. You can also speak your desires into existence. By writing it down and reading it over and over constantly throughout the day and night, you can materialize it. This method is highly effective late at night. You must keep believing it will happen even when there is no evidence in sight.

You can also get results by calling on a saint or a specific deity. That choice is very personal. It is always a good idea to investigate the nature and the powers of the chosen deity. You don't want to get in over your head. There are countless mysterious powers available. If you try this method, make sure you can handle what comes with it. Just a cautionary note.

Because much depends on your belief, the methods of unleashing great powers are unlimited. In some instances, even belief is unnecessary. Sometimes in an urgent situation, the spiritual powers act so fast that you don't even have time to think. I could go on and on with methods used all around the world that cause supernatural miracles to occur. Because of the unlimited nature of the power, anything is possible. That's also why there are so many cultures who use different techniques. Of all the methods used throughout history, the one that is often overlooked is your own Self. Your very life force energy can create the most amazing miracles. This subject is rarely taught. Most religions teach people to seek help from other forces. That does work, but never underestimate the power within you. If you want to know more about the incredible powers that you were born with, look for the definition of the word "Siddhis" on the internet. You will discover a long list of amazing feats that you are capable of. Ultimately, it's up to you to decide. This is your life. You must do whatever is best for you.

Interesting hub. It reminds me of the Placebo Effect.

If I could take a sugar pill to take away my pain, why does it matter that my mind did it? That's amazing. No pain is no pain.
