Where is God?
In the midst of recent tragedy, we need to hold on to our faith now more than ever. We need to come together as a society and rely on the only one who truly saves- God. It is so easy to question where God is when this happens and why He allowed it to happen. God is a God of love, peace, wisdom and clarity. He is not the God of division and chaos. All of the chaos we are seeing is a result of the fall. The story of Adam and Eve in the garden of Eden when they disobeyed God and Eve ate from the forbidden tree. That action is the reason we now live in a broken world. We have become a world that turns away from God when tragedy strikes, instead of towards Him, where we need to be.
God is for you, not against you
We cannot only come to God when we need something. We have to stay vigilant and pray for our fellow brothers and sisters. God wants what is best for you at all times and has plans to prosper, not harm you. He wants to bless you in every way possible.
Ask the right questions
I have been in that position of questioning and wondering, but the closer I have gotten to God, the better I feel knowing His heart breaks with ours. We need to let our hearts break for what breaks His. Prayer changes everything. It is okay to question God and ask Him why, but we also need to ask how. How can we overcome this Lord?
Even that one minute prayer you pray in the morning really makes a difference on how your day goes and on how your faith is jump started. Never lose sight on Jesus and who He is. He is the Son of God, the Holy Spirit and God all in one. He is the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. Coming together as a Nation under God is truly the solution to the issues we face and the issues to come.
