Prayer for Divine Connections

Updated on January 11, 2016

What is a Divine Connection?

  • What is a Divine Connection?
  • How do you know you can even have a Divine Connection?
  • How do you know that God hears and answers prayers?
  • How am I supposed to do this?

These questions and more will be answered in this post.

Psalm 18

What is Divine?

According to the Dictionary the word DIVINE means

1. relating to or coming from God (or a god) or

2.Supremely good.

So that means Divine things are good connections, good words, good things. Some examples could be Divine Savior, Divine love, or even a divine apple pie, etc.

There are many connections in this world that are not good. There are many things that people worship as a god, but they are not God. Many so called gods do not bring hope or life, but death, destruction, or despair.

Searching for and worshiping the One True God will bring peace - peace that surpasses understanding, and life - life more abundantly. You will know the tree by the fruit.

68% believe Jesus is GOD, or the Son of GOD,

65% believe Jesus was resurrected from the dead,

58% believe in hell and the Devil

47% believe in Darwin's Theory of Evolution

42% of Americans believe in ghosts,

36% each believe in creationism and UFOs,

29% believe in astrology,

26% believe in witches and

24% believe in reincarnation

Ask Seek Knock

Seek and You Will Find

God promised in His Word - if you seek Him, He will reveal Himself to you. There is nothing magical or mystical about it. God does not lie. He is true to His Word. And He promised that you could seek and find Him.

How Do I Know It's God?

Divine connections start with prayer. Prayer opens the door for communication with God. Prayer doesn't have to audible, it can be silent, it can be spoken, it can be groaned, it can just be tears. But prayer is simply talking to God. And listening for Him to respond.

God may send you a sign, or He may direct you to His Word. He may have someone call you at just the right time. He may send you a Word through normal, everyday things. When I feel something "prick my heart" I know that Word was meant for me. And that it came from God.

The Holy Spirit resides in you if you are a believer. And He promised to guide us to all truth, to comfort us, to teach us, to remind us of all things. Acknowledge the work of the Holy Spirit in your life. Open the door to HIm - and learn!

Do Not Believe

Beware of False Spirits

Yes, God does want to talk to you. A lot. He wants to help you, to guide you, to protect you, to provide for you. He said so. He does not want you to turn to the Occult for a Supernatural Experience. The Occult is false, and dangerous. The Devil has come to kill, steal, and destroy. Jesus has come to bring life and bring it more abundantly.

Let us not accept fake divine connections. Let us not talk to dead spirits. Let us seek out the Lord while He may be found. Why settle for fake supernatural when God is the Author of Miracles?

Observe my Sabbaths and have reverence for my sanctuary. I am the Lord.

“‘Do not turn to mediums or seek out spiritists, for you will be defiled by them. I am the Lord your God.

“‘Stand up in the presence of the aged, show respect for the elderly and revere your God. I am the Lord. (Leviticus 19:30-32 NIV)

Prayer for Divine Connections

Dear Lord,

We ask you for Divine connections, Divine encounters, and Divine direction in our lives. Lead us Lord out of the darkness and into your marvelous light. Bring people alongside us to encourage and strengthen us in this journey. You said that we would see the miraculous as we impart your Word to others. We are asking, we are seeking, and we are knocking. Come in Lord.

We thank you for the divine connections you are making. Thank you for gathering your sisters and brothers from around the World to accomplish Your will on earth. I pray that we listen before we speak, and get our ‘marching orders’ from You alone. Let our own plans and designs fall by the wayside like tumbleweed. Confuse the enemy as we pray – Blow them all away Lord. Let Your will be done here on Earth, in Jesus Name, through Your chosen messengers - us! Thank you Jesus!

Thank you Dana and Janelle - I have had so many bad connections in my life. Guess I had to learn the hard way to let God direct my feet on the path. Things are much more peaceful for me these days, lol! God bless you both! Diana

Yes, we must seek His divine presence at all times. The Lord has come and died on the cross in order for us to be able to have a relationship with God. Now we can approach the throne freely because we are covered in the precious blood of Jesus. Lately I have been praying for something and I it has been for awhile so I understand how we can be discouraged when we feel God is not answering our prayers. But I also know that everything works for the good of those who love Him and if it is in His will it will be answered. Sometimes when god holds our desires from us it is not because He doesn't love or hear us its just that He loves us so much and He sees the big picture and we don't. Loved this hub thank you for sharing.
