Praying Immediately

Updated on September 20, 2013

Praying immediately reduces stress and increases faith. When you pray right away for a matter it doesn't allow doubt to take any roots. While someone is telling me their problem or when I can sense or hear stress in their voice, I start to pray in my mind. I also do this for myself. It seems as though I have a natural disposition to worry. I am sure that I inherited this trait from my grandmother. I don't think that she prayed about these things. Now I can't fathom going through life without praying. It is that powerful! In the last couple of days I have so many answered prayers. I prayed about situations that could have turned out totally different but because of God's grace they all worked out.

Although I praying immediately it doesn't mean that I am always getting answers immediately. Sometimes I need to exercise patience and faith. Also it is not like a magic chant like some people who are unbelievers or low on faith might think. I know this person who says, " I did that and it didn't work". You need to pray until you receive an answer, you can't give up. You could pray for help in dealing with what you are dealing with and also for patience. Don't give up.

If you are an unbeliever all this might sound kind of crazy or like I may have some kind of psychological problem. But rest assured it is real! I challenge you test it, even to ask God to show you that He is real.

If ye shall ask any thing in my name, I will do it. John 14:14

Lovely article. This is so great and perfect timing, for me.

I'd like to add some comments that I hope will help. They are given in the spirit of grace and love.

First of all, we do not inherit such traits from our ancestors. We decide to acquire them. God wants us to take responsibility for our creations. Even when Jesus performed his miracles of healing, he frequently said that those people were healed by their own faith, not by him, directly. They took responsibility through spirit.

I have found that miracles (answered prayers) can occur instantaneously, if we do them correctly. If we have even the slightest fear in our hearts when we pray, we will receive the object of that fear. Just as Peter experienced after he stepped out of his storm-tossed boat, onto the unsettled Sea of Galilee, faith led to instantaneous miracles of his walking before his master, Jesus. And just as instantaneously, when his doubt returned, he promptly sank.

You're doing a beautiful thing, to the glory of God. I can see Him smiling at your faith. I can feel His arms wrap around me as I write this.

May blessings continue to follow your rebirth.
