Prose - Religion or Spirituality?

Updated on December 20, 2011

The pleasing sounds
Cannot be described
And yet the notes
Can be transcribed
You weep
As you listen
To magic unencumbered
By what is written
No laws
Only harmony
Without conflict
Perfect spirituality
Or perception
Is lost
In translation
Human interaction
The instrument
God’s gift
Channeled sacrament
A trance
Without effort
Nothing to distort
But felt
And treasured
Can you?
Do you know what I ask?
It is within
Remove your mask
It is beyond
All experience
All books
All evangelical deliverance
The laws
Confused revelation
The notes
Primitive communication
You look at the paper
The black instructions
But you do not know
Of true intentions
Can you hear?
Can you feel?
What cannot be touched
A charlatan cannot steal

Hi Acaetnna - Thank you... I have something inside me I'm trying to say and maybe I did it here but all I can say if it drew you near then maybe I'm already there. I hope you have a great Christmas too and an even better new year....

This is such a deep thinking poem, particularly for this time of the year. I found it very thought provoking. May I wish you a very happy Christmas time.
