Psychic Abilities-Whats yours?
We all have psychic ability. It’s a heightened inbuilt sense within us that can be found if looked for, often laying dormant and never discovered. Our five senses of sight, hearing, taste, smell and touch are our basic human senses. There are more like sense of pain and time but the five main ones are the ones I want to focus on. A psychic sense is an extra sensory perception
What psychic abilities are there?
Clairsentience-is when a person receives psychic knowledge through feeling, picking up understanding another’s emotional state and feeling, often called empathy. It varies in how far ranging it can be. For example, I physically feel a spirits touch, very sensitive in that way, much to their annoyance at times!
Clairaudience-is the ability to be able to ‘hear’ beyond the normal range of hearing. There is subjective and objective clairaudience. Subjective is thoughts projected from one mind to another. There are different levels on which a clairaudient person hears. I hear full sentences spoken to me and have full conversations frequently but this is not always the case. Objective is a sound heard externally outside of us, as if someone was stood near and talking, it sounds like we are hearing with our ears.
Clairalience- Clairescence is another term for this; it is the sense of psychic smell.
Claircognizance-is a psychic sense which is where we have a clear knowing, a knowledge of something without any physical explanation. Intrinsic knowledge known without seeing, hearing or feeling it.
Clairgustance-is the psychic ability to taste without anything being put in the mouth. It gives the ability to be able to perceive the essence of a substance from the spiritual or ethereal realms through taste.
Clairvoyance-is psychic clear vision which is received through the minds eye. It allows images or symbols to be received without the aid of physical sight. The images are impressed upon the clairvoyants mind. There are far ranging ways in what can be received from single images to whole scenes playing out like a video.
The one thing that stands out to me about these psychic senses is that they are an extension of the five physiological senses that we hold, touch, hearing, smell, taste and sight. Claircognizance is the only one that is left out; clear knowing, but is it though? Surely that sense equals an extension of human intuition.
How do we know what our ability is?
For some people they don’t need to look for what their inbuilt psychic ability is, it has always been there or spirit comes into their lives to highlight it to them. It was a mixture of the two for me. More so the later in my case. If you aren’t aware of any psychic sense you hold you have probably not been noticing. Think back over your life and try to recall any moments you’ve had where you’ve wondered for a second about something which has caused you to do a double take on it in your mind. It could be knowing someone was going to ring before they did or seeing a glimpse of something then looking back seeing nothing and dismissing it as imagination. Possibly you thought you heard someone talk to you and on asking been told no. Perhaps you’ve worried about someone you know yet have no reason to and then getting confirmation that they were in distress over something. The best thing you can do is to recognise these signs.
Once you start having recognition of events like these, your mind naturally becomes more open and receptive to them. This in turn heightens your awareness and psychic senses. You would probably find if you gave these matters some regular thought that things start happening for you as well. They may be small things at first but with your mind being open you will notice and recognise them for what they are.
I have been told by many of my friends that when I came into their lives, that they started to experience spiritual things. This is not down to me; this is down to the fact that because of the two worlds I live in it brings the subject to the forefront of their minds. They know who I am and what I do and sometimes it gets talked about between us. Even if after the conversation they are not consciously thinking about it, in the subconscious mind it has been taken in and digested. It’s there lurking in the subconscious still. It is all about the mind and openness. The world of spirit are all too aware of when a person has even the slightest interest or openness to the spiritual realm, it’s like an alarm ringing. If the circumstances are right they will actively jump at the chance to encourage the person when the person is feeling open to it and try to bring an experience to you.
From my own experience I have seen first hand how my minds acceptance of the spiritual world around me has rapidly increased my experience. There are sceptics who say “well nothing has ever happened to me, I don’t believe in it, it’s all rubbish”. I have no issue with that at all, doesn’t bother me in the slightest whether others believe or not. But I always think when I see that sort of attitude: well of course you don’t experience anything! That sceptic never will either; for as long as their mind is closed, the door is closed.
There are no Clairvoyants that exist with a closed mind, the two don’t go together. The mind has to be open to receive psychic experiences. It amuses me when a sceptic challenges a believer to prove it to them, make something happen etc. That is asking the impossible as the sceptic has a brick wall surrounding them. Scepticism is healthy and good, no bad thing but it has its place and if you want to find your own psychic ability, that’s not the place.
Know that you have psychic ability; you just haven’t found it yet. If you look you will see.
