A Pyrite Stone

Introduction

Pyrite, better known as fools gold, is a unique stone. In a way it resembles gold but to me it's so much more precious. This stone is a very easy stone to find. It is can be located in Arizona, Colorado, New York, Missouri, Pennsylvania, and Tennessee. However there are many other locations. Those are just a few of them.

Just as precious and wonderful as this stone looks it is a fragile stone and cannot be bent like Gold. It has wonderful properties to it like many crystals and gemstones do. Magical and healing. This stone can prove to be useful.

Healing

Stones have been known to be used in crystal healing. Whether it involves meditation, the Chakras, or physical healing. Each stone has its right in healing. Pyrite including, aids in healing though the list may not be as long as it is with other stones. This gold like stone can be helpful so let's take a look at what it can do for us.

For women, our menstrual cycles can be very uncomfortable. Whether it be the pain, the bloating, anything that can go along with that time of the month. Pyrite is said to be able to aid in the discomfort that can come along with our menstrual cycles.

If you are someone who as many symptoms and are experiencing confusion in what it is that is ailing you this stone can aid in that confusion and in turn end up with a diagnosis for you.

This wonderful stone, as beautiful as it is, has been known as a sun stone for some. Because of that it is said to be able to draw pain from the body and even aid in depression.

If you are experiencing a fever or a swelling of some kind pyrite has also been known to be able to reduce that when used directly on the body.

As said before the list of healing properties of this stone may not be as long as they are for others but they are still great and can still prove to be very helpful. Personally I find that whenever I hold or even lay eyes on my pyrite I can't help but smile.

Keep in mind to always see a doctor for being diagnosed and that I am not a doctor myself. It is important to not substitute crystal healing with seeing a professional. I seek out alternative healing constantly. Usually I do crystal healing on the side of doing what my doctor prescribes me. Sometimes if what the doctor prescribes me doesn't help me then I'll do some crystal healing. No matter what just remember seeing a doctor or professional healer is important.

Magical Properties

The pyrite stone is a perfect tool to be used when it comes to balancing or activating the first Chakra also known as the Base Chakra.

This stone holds both fire and earth energies within it. It can aid in communicating more openly and even more truthfully with someone which in turn can provide more protection both physical and emotional.

If you carry a Pyrite stone on you it can help you when you are indecisive about something by boosting your self confidence. This stone is a great divination tool and meditation stone mainly because of its reflective quality. Which is what the Inca's used it for.

This stone can be used to increase physical stamina and stimulate intellect. This is the stone to use if doing any kind of magic that involved wealth. This stone is a remarkable shield stone and can remove negative energy from one's auras.

Conclusion

Once reading everything this stone is capable of I hope you can understand why it is saddening that people may call it Fool's Gold. It deserves a much better name don't you think? It is a remarkable stone of its own right, beautiful, strong yet fragile all at the same time. I believe that I am slowly falling in love with it.

That you were! And to find it in your garden, how lucky you were. I wish I could find it in my area but cannot. Still I have one in my collection of stones.

I've never thought of Pyrite as being used for Crystal Healing before! As a kid growing up in Arkansas, we had Pyrite everywhere. My siblings and I used to play with it all the time, which is probably why I've never given much thought to it. Great hub and voted up!

Daniella, how lucky you were to grow up around pyrite. We have some of it in the Northern location of our state and I mean real north, the Mackinac area for example but not my area. I envy you.

Kitty, I am falling in love with Pyrite! Not so much a gold fan but Pyrite has so much precious aspects to it that to me it is more precious than gold. Thank you for reading.
