(Genesis 1) Revelation and Truth "Let There be Absolute Light"

Updated on September 18, 2013

The light is good

"And God said, Let there be light: and there was light. And God saw the light, that it was good: and God divided the light from the darkness" (Genesis 1:3-4 KJV).

In Genesis 1 verse 3,God said let there be light and there was light. We are called, and we must call the light into existence in our own lives, and the lives of other. Stop! Let’s call the light into our lives, say out loud, let there be light! Let there be absolute light. Absolute light doesn't include any darkness. The light we are calling is the revelation we need to expose every trace of darkness, and sin as it pertains to our own lives, and illuminate our way. We want, and desire revelation knowledge in order to understand the truth, and be made free experientially.

We are walking towards a greater light then we experienced yesterday, and last season, and year, because today is a brand new day which God has made; unlike yesterday and tomorrow and that will never be the same as yesterday. There may be similarities in the activities of the day, but it is a new day.

Reproducing after His kind, means that we are mirroring God in our lives. We should also desire to exemplify, and to speak the same things into manifestation as the Word of God instructs. The principles found in the scriptures are our script for living the productive, and abundant life which Jesus came to give us (John 10:10).

The question that we need to condition ourselves to ask in every situation is, what does the Word of God say about it? What is the script in the scriptures teaching, and directing me to do today? Let there be light! Then we must speak that, and align our lives, and conversation with God words, so that when we communicate with Him in prayer that our conversation is not earthbound, but in heaven for the sake of our life on earth. "For our conversation is in heaven; from whence also we look for the Savior, the Lord Jesus Christ": (Philippians 3:20). We are created in His image and after His likeness.

Our desire for the lost to see, believe, and receive the light reminds me of the account in Ezekiel 37, and how the hand of the Lord was upon the prophet as it is upon us today as well; and how he was carried out in the Spirit of the Lord, and set down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones. He was caused to pass by these bones roundabout, and he saw in this open valley that these bones were very dry. To bring this to date, we should be able to discern also that the unsaved are like these dry bones, living out their days in the valley called sin, located in the world system. Our declaration over them should be let there be light, until there is light for them to see the path to salvation, and we will be agreeing with God, that the light is good. We should also be able to see that they need life, which only comes through Jesus Christ.

Let there be light - Can these bones live?

Back to our story, The Lord asked Ezekiel a question, He said, can these bones live? The prophet answered, Lord, You know, interpreted (better than I). Next God said to him, prophesy unto these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones hear the words of the Lord. We want to be enabled and empowered by the Holy Spirit to declare that the unsaved will see the light and be saved and that they will hear the Word of God too. When we declare it over them we have miracle producing words in our mouth, and these are words of life and lead to eternal life.

When we war for souls we should be calling the lost out of darkness into His marvelous light, we too are declaring let there be light and that they see it, our desire should be for the unsaved to walk out of the darkness, but they must first see the light so that they too will know that it is good, just as we know that it is good because we are in agreement with God; and they must hear as well. Declaring over ourselves and others is operating in an aspect of the Spirit of prophesy.

Prophecy is all divine revelation from God communicated not by the will of man but of the Spirit of God through the prophets. These divine revelations were known also as predictions which declare in advance. If you will go back with to me to Genesis 1:3 when God said, let there be light, and there was light; He spoke it before the light manifested. It is called declaring and decreeing today but it is of the Spirit of Prophecy when it is prevalent truth.

(Ephesians 4:11) tells us that He gave some prophets, for the work of the ministry and the perfecting of the saints. The early prophets were forth tellers and the latter were foretellers or seers. The scriptures also tell us that the spirit of the prophets is subject to the prophets.

There are miracle producing words in our mouths when we take hold and believe in the life that is in the power of our words. We know there is power in God words because light came into existence no sooner He uttered the words and God saw the light and declared it to be good. Here is our basis for declaring things into manifestation, knowing in addition, that God calls those things which be not as though they were (Romans 4:17).

It is set up as a paradigm, example, and standard for us to incorporate, and include in our lives, and to mirror God as He shows us how to call what we need into manifestation, and believe that it will materialize. This a realm where God has already prepared everything that we need and it is locked up in the realm of the spirit and we have to call it to us and when we begin to speak into our futures and our lives things begin to happen and materialize and breakthroughs emerge.

What prohibits the light?

Let there be light, and there was light simply means, and suggests that there were prohibiting forces preventing something from happening, and that it was suppressing the light from materializing.

Much of our suggested prosperity, potential, abilities, gifts, talents, and our callings into ministry were and are being suppressed by principalities, and powers, rulers of the darkness of this world, spiritual wickedness in high and low places and are governed by these spirits and they are at work trying to distract and stop us. We must learn how to conduct our warfare; this is the purpose for the whole armor of God. It is not for show, it is for battle and war!

We must declare to all that is barricaded, obstructed, and blocked from us, to open in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ. We need these open portals, windows, doors, gates, open floodgates, and heavens, so that the rain pours down, and can soak and saturate us in the anointing that breaks every yoke, and looses every band. We need the spiritual weathering to change the atmospheres created by demonic destiny altering words, and images, poor, negative and poverty filled words, and deeds, we need the changes to take place that line up with God’s will.

We need economical, and financial climates to shift. We need spiritual atmospheric climates to shift, so that the environment is suitable for the glory of God, for ministries, relationships, families, businesses, talents, and gifts to all thrive. We need to establish supernatural environments for the miraculous to occur. Evil must be destroyed from the root, for this purpose was the Son of God manifested to destroy the works of darkness, and this is why we are manifested to destroy the works of darkness. Make no mistake about it every prayer and praise you utter through your mouth to God is assigned against the works of darkness.

These methods of operation, maneuvers and forces of darkness defy the armies of the living God and we must use the sword of the Spirit which is the Word of God and battle the demonic and satanic powers that are assigned against our lives. There are ceilings and upper limits of oppression which we must shatter and crush in the fray through the power and authority in the mighty name of Jesus. We must come into agreement with the supreme good of heaven where we are seated with Christ, as we are positioned in the earth. We must arise to establish our legal and right dominion over all the territories that God has given us jurisdictional authority, as His grace and mercy prevails over us.

There is a price which was paid, for us to have a free passage
There is a price which was paid, for us to have a free passage

Jesus is our free passage to God

We must realize that God has given us free passage through Jesus Christ for our prayers to ascend into the heavens where we direct our prayers, and conversations, and that our prayers are not bound to the earth and awaiting an earthly result only.

We must declare breakthrough atmospheres which establish and recalibrate the spiritual climate to be in alignment with the fire and zeal of God, and command all luke-warmness be replaced with the baptism of the Holy Ghost with the evidence of speaking in unknown tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. We must use our authority, and declare the kingdoms of the world are and shall be the kingdoms of our God.

We get what we say and we create with our words. Acts will follow our words; this is mainly why we must be careful of what we think and what we say. Our minds are being renewed and as these new features manifests and transpires, we should be changing our vocabulary too. Words pave the way to success and failure, death and life are in the power of the tongue. "Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof" (Proverbs 18:21 KJV). This is interesting, two things are mentioned in this verse yet, it suggests that only one of the two will be chosen and that those who love it, be death or life will eat the fruit thereof. If we choose death we elect to speak and declare negative words and curses and if we choose life we are choosing to speak words of life and blessings.

We can’t have it both ways. Either we will make a decision to speak words that will pave a life full of blessings or cursings. in James 3, he makes a point in verse 10, Out of the same mouth proceeds blessing and cursing. My brethren, these things ought not so to be he admonishes.

What directive will you give your words?
What directive will you give your words?

Change the root and change the fruit

This brings to mind the Apostle Paul in Romans 12:14b, stating that we should bless, and curse not. These scriptures are taking root within my spirit life and changing the fruit to be in harmony with God. I know that if the root is changed, the fruit will also be changed.

I’ve personally come to the conclusion that blessing with my mouth is what I desire to do and not to defile the blessing I mean for myself or others to have, by speaking negative words and anything against the blessing I intend for them and declare into manifestation. We must watch the words we speak over others and ourselves. Watch, because we don’t want to speak against the blood wrought lives of our brothers and sisters.

Pray, because only God can give them the help they need, and give us the spirit of intercession. Jesus told his disciples to watch, and pray that they enter not into temptation. The temptation in this case would be to speak negatively, resist it by praying. A lot of times when the situation presents itself to speak negatively, we have an option, click your prayer tab. I know that preferably, if I could influence anyone as it pertains to me, I would rather have the prayers for my life rather than the negative talk, because negative talk creates darkness, Jesus came to destroy the works of darkness not to magnify them. If you are not part of the solution and on the side of Christ to destroy darkness then you are part of the problem when you side with the darkness by speaking negative words which cannot produce life, but death.

"Keep thy heart with all diligence, for out of it are the issues of life" (Proverbs 4:23 KJV). We must relentlessly keep our hearts regardless of all the opposition we are facing, because out of our hearts flow the issues of life, and we need our words to line up with the principles, and precepts of God to decree what He wills for us. Jesus said, from and out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks, the abundant life that He came to give us should spring forth from our mouths declaring the greatness of God in every way. We can do what God says we can, and we are a divine creation of God every part of us. We must be taught the paths of God, and how to walk in them. We must resist the temptation to magnify the problems, but to magnify our God over the problems, the bigger you make Him the smaller the problems become.

Pay close attention to what you are thinking about because the words to support those thoughts will follow, be it life or death. It is likened to programming a computer with the wrong software and all the files are all messed up inside and filled with junk. Program your life with the seeds of positive word producing thoughts within to change thinking patterns. This is the beginning of restoration of our health holistically and on every level.

God’s plans for us are good not evil, we must develop a vocabulary that speaks just that, and don’t believe lies. We should get up each morning expecting a change; God is looking for our faith to add His blessing to it. We are always one step closer today to our miracle. When we quit expecting the worst and start expecting the best we will prosper and make it part of our declarations. We must get a bigger vision for our lives and get rid of negative mindsets designed to keep us down. We must avoid the grasshopper mentality.

Twelve spies were sent to spy out the land, ten had a negative report, but Joshua and Caleb had a different spirit, they spoke blessings. God is bigger than negative limited thinking, which can and will stop us from obtaining fortitude and going into the promised life of abundance Jesus came to give us. The grasshopper mentality focuses on to many giants in the land and all the reasons why it can’t be done and is a negative report. Whose report will you believe? We shall believe the report of the Lord!

(Proverbs 13:3) He that keepeth his mouth keepeth his life: but he that openeth wide his lips shall have destruction. Have you ever noticed how at times you can say something before you have carefully thought it through, and then you ask yourself why did I say that? Some call it the foot in the mouth syndrome. This verse tells us that if we keep our mouth we keep our life. The sad thing about choosing negative words to speak, and uttering the wrong things is that we can’t recall our words; they go forward and will create or destroy.

Choosing good words to speak is admirable and spiritually healthy. The thing to bear in mind is that Jesus came to destroy darkness. and negative words which represent darkness shouldn’t be assigned against our brothers and sisters. My mother used to say, “if you don’t have anything good to say don’t say anything at all.” Tell what you are feeling to God not to others, He can change it, who you are telling can’t, and you just may be defiling their ears because behind negative words are negative emotions which can mask bitterness, and when it springs up many may be defiled. We must be accountable for the words we speak. Let kindness guide your words so that blessings can manifest.

"Forever O Lord, thy word is settled in heaven" (Psalm 119:89 KJV).

The Word of God is already settled and functioning completely in heaven. The Angels automatically obey the Word without question or pause, unlike us, they weren’t given the right to choose good or evil, therefore they only know good and execute it. Praise the Lord!

In (James 3:1-18), we are admonished to beware of the tongue which is what Proverbs is saying as well when it tells us that death, and life are in the power of the tongue. In the account in the Epistle of James he warns that in many things we can offend with our words, and he goes on to explain that if any man is capable of not offending with his words, the same is a perfect man, and able also to bridle the whole body. This is practical and possible when we exercise care in choosing what we say. The thought of what to say should precede what we speak.

Let there be light and revelation through this message to all who will see the light. Grace and peace.
