Rastafari: Praise JAH in Truth

Updated on July 2, 2014

If you believe that there is a God, why not act like it. I am talking about the LORD of truth. JAH has bestowed upon us the knowledge of truth. The most basic truth is to love our neighbors equally as we would love ourselves. It is important to be nice to each other. Most people say that they are Christians and praise JAH daily. However, they may still have unresolved matters which hinder their Christian lives. Worshiping the lord is a privilege which many people do not have.

Praising JAH

  • Before approaching the Lord, it is best to ensure that your temple is clean. A lot of people do not know that the Lord shuns unclean hearts. Your physical temple should be swept clean of all evil thoughts and memories.
  • Bless the people who you interact with on a daily basis. This includes friends and enemies. Before we can ask for blessings, we have to give blessings first. Remember, we are like the gods and have the ability to bless or curse.
  • The mind should be calm and focused on JAH. There should be no distractions. JAH is only approachable in a secret place.

Praising JAH in Truth

Praising JAH when you are deep in sin, is not recommended without the function of CHRIST (forgiveness). However, it is better to praise JAH in truth, when you are cleansed from sin. It is better to praise JAH in truth, in order to open up a direct communication channel between you and the Lord.

It does not make any sense to praise JAH while you are planning a bank robbery. The praise has to be offered in truth. JAH cannot be deceived. Rastafari is the King of peace and righteousness and cannot be fooled. The children of JAH know their father and the father know all his children by name.

Praise Jah in Truth and Works

In order to be become one with JAH, you have to do the things that JAH did. Rastafarians, Jews, Christians, Buddhists all reflect their faith by what they do. Their behavior is a representation of their faith. Once you affiliate yourself with a spiritual movement, people will judge the nature of your behavior.

Wicked fruits bear from a wicked tree. These can only come from their respective trees. If you do good things and behave with good mannerisms, people will assume you come from a good background. The credit will normally go to your community, parents or faith.

Sometimes when people ask about my religion, I just tell them I am doing good things today. Rastafari is just a movement on the road to ZION.

Praise JAH in Truth and Spirit

Once the spirit of JAH is inside of the temple, then there will be no more war and turmoil. It doesn’t matter if its global conflicts or social depression. The state of our world right now, is due to fact that JAH is not praised in truth. Lack of common consensus of peace is the problem.

The Children are Crying out for Love

A street child does a touching dub poet about living on the streets of Jamaica. This poem conjures up a lot of emotions. One of the main Rastafarian beliefs is to look out for the children of the streets (powerful article). All these children on the streets are part of the Rastafarian culture.

Once there is an absence of JAH in man, war and hatred will fill the void. Once JAH is connected to our physical minds, we will think of war no more. Robbing your brother will never be an option. Therefore, JAH is spiritual represented by our very action.

A clean spirit cannot live in a dirty house. House cleaning has to be done to make the house clean in order for the clean spirit to feel welcome. A dirty spirit will not feel comfortable in a clean house because they will be kicked out by the landlord or else the house will become dirty.

Good and thoughtful hub. Much to reflect on.

'Once JAH is connected to our physical minds, we will think of war no more,' We could do with a world revival of peace and goodwill. Of doing what is right and following the word of God.

Yahweh does not take pleasure in evil, neither does evil dwell with Him, Respect YAHWEH, cannot find fiathfulness in our mouth our inward part is very wickedness and makes our throat to be an open sepulchre as we continue to flatter with our tongue and we'll always fall by our own counsels.

Give thanks every time.Avery thoughtful piece brethren and am quite pleased that you started that mission , with the truths of Jah. The beginning you make only signals the end you desire. Starting with truth, knowing that truth has no end, signals everlasting.

Only wickedness, and evil knowing they are all terrible lies, are so miserable they need company facing their doom.

      great piece brethren.
