Reading The Bible Out Loud for Healing

Updated on February 18, 2013

Reading The Bible Out Loud

So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. Romans 10:17

If faith is increased by hearing it then reading the word of God out loud would be a great place to start. First, find all the healing scriptures, all the ones that obtain the word healing, healer, heal, and healed in it. Print out the list and read them out loud everyday.

As you do this the Word of God will seep into your soul and every part of illness in your body.

Now to him who is able to do far more abundantly than all that we ask or think, according to the power at work within us, Ephesians 3:20 (ESV)

Every word that you read out loud is important. To achieve faith for healing in your life, you must have the hope in God's Word. Faith comes by hearing. God’s Word has the power within it to bring itself to pass. God will also change your thoughts to His way of thinking.

For my thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways my ways, saith the Lord. For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are my ways higher than your ways, and my thoughts than your thoughts. For as the rain cometh down, and the snow from heaven, and returneth not thither, but watereth the earth, and maketh it bring forth and bud, that it may give seed to the sower, and bread to the eater:So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. Isaiah 55:8-11

Heal me, O LORD, and I shall be healed; save me, and I shall be saved: for thou art my praise. Jeremiah 17:14

Dear Lord, I pray for anyone who might be reading this who might be suffering for an illness. I pray that you could turn these moments of weakness into strength. I pray that your powerful Word will heal them. I pray that you will drive out all sickness from their body. Please resore them in to full health. I pray Father that you could take away all the fear and doubt. Thank you In Jesus Name Amen.

I believe in reading God's word our loud as it is one way of claiming the power of healing that it brings to us. I did it many times esp. when I was totally bedridden and all I would do was to call on Him for help and healing and strength and God delivered me.

Thank you for this Hub. Voted Useful.

I read God's word out loud from time to time and it helps the passage or verse to sink deeper and bring me more understanding. If I am speaking out a prayer it is my way of saying amen to whoever and what ever the prayer is saying. Great hub Skye. Voted up and across the board.
