Real Vampire Blood

With the ever-increasing popularity of the HBO show True Blood, there is a real search on the internet of those looking to gain access to real vampire blood. In the True Blood show, some of the characters come in contact with real vampire blood (titled "V") and get addicted to it, as if it were heroine. If vampires did indeed exist, is it possible that consuming their blood would give us any effect?

Let's pretend for a few moments that vampires do exist. In fact, there are many people out there who believe themselves to be real vampires. So if vampires are real and living alongside of us, it is most definitely possible that there is real vampire blood. Wouldn't it be ironic if we could use real vampire blood to attain a high, just as they use our blood to fulfill their needs?

Come with me for a few minutes into a world where there is real vampire blood...and let's see what would happen if the drug V did indeed exist.

The newest most powerful drug is V.

It's more powerful than any form of heroine, and it will put you in a state of trance unlike any other narcotic on the market today. In addition to the trance-like effects of real vampire blood, it also combines a state of euphoria with the feeling of invincibility. You'll feel like you are on top of the world, and you feel like you could literally lift the entire world with one hand. It is the newest drug known simply as V.

This drug is much more expensive than heroine, probably three to five times the cost, and the major problem with attaining this drug is that there are very few dealers. And actually, some of those dealers might indeed be real vampires themselves...obtaining and selling their own kind's blood in order to make a few bucks and attain control over the human race.

But we don't mind the price or the cost of our own lives, we need this drug V...we need real vampire blood. There's nothing like it in the entire world and will never be. Crooked scientists and pharmaceutical companies cannot mimic the effects with synthetic vampire blood. They have been trying for years with whacky, insufficient results. This new drug V is running rampant in the club scenes, and real vampire blood is especially desired for raves and other organized drug parties. Long over are the days of "rolling" on ecstasy or tripping on acid...real vampire blood is the new black.

Results of V Drug Addiction

Now that you've tried this new drug V, and now that you've partaken in the consumption of real vampire blood, how do you feel? You probably feel as though you need this drug all of the time, like you cannot be yourself without it. Perhaps you feel like it makes you do your job better...like you're stronger and happier on real vampire blood.

The drug V is more addictive than any drug on the streets today, and it has more people hooked on it than on pain pills. When you start to detox from the drug V, you may experience one or all of the following symptoms:

  • hallucinations
  • delusions of grandeur
  • irritability
  • rage
  • nightmares
  • the shakes
  • weakness
  • feelings of uneasiness
  • loss of friends and family members

You may even do whatever it takes to get another hit of real vampire blood, which could include steal, kill, lie, cheat, or even pimping your own blood out to the nearest vampire.

So this is what would happen if the Drug V (a.k.a. real vampire blood) was a real drug on the streets today. If real vampires exist, I truly hope their blood is no different than ours...and that no one catches on to this idea. Let's keep the real vampire blood a fictional tale for TV, one to entertain us for seasons to come on HBO's True Blood.

I was thinking about this recently. If vampire blood was such a powerful narcotic AND potent healing agent, vampires would want to go in the closet to avoid being captured, caged and "milked" of their blood. Capture them, then hook them up to a feeding tube that feeds them human blood and IV to take out their blood, in an relatively automated system that eliminates anyone to hypnotize to release them.

Better to disappear again than a fate like that, the ultimate in industrial medical cures, when it heals injuries, boosts performance in all areas and creates a high.

I assume no one will believe me, but when I was a boy and lived in Quincy, IL. I met a particular man, he approached me, asked if i had livestock, I'd been told by my parents not to lie so i said yes, the next morning, 2 pigs were dead in the barn. ( it really messed with the horse ) I don't know how, or why, just sharing my personal experience.

V could become like medical marijuana, with limited sales to patients because "V" in True Blood does heal many injuries.

People may be turned into vampires by powerful vampires to supply the market, creating an underclass of vampire slaves. Or kidnapped vampires for "farming".

@bell@ - Who knows what is normal and what isn't, ya know? I wouldn't feel guilty for that or strange for that at all...it sounds like it was a direct effect from the blood transfusion. Thanks for sharing!

That not good vampire or drug. Let's hope it is just a fictional tale for TV. You amuse and entertain me with your creative thinking.

Nell - LOL! Vamps have rights! I tried the Vampire Diaries once but couldn't get into it. Would you suggest watching it from the beginning? Thanks for the comment.

Interesting Hub. If vampires do exist I think it would stand to reason their blood would be different. And if we did discover an illicit use for their blood, they would be hunted for it to the point of extinction, like whales and sharks and elephants. Then we'd have vampire rights activists marching around with signs that say SAVE THE VAMPIRES!

The mind reels with the implications of all of this. For now, I'll forgo the vampire blood and stick with werewolf steaks.

    A very entertaining idea!

Actually, if there is any show I watch religiously (to coin a phrase) it is True Blood. I'm not the fanatic, but I have purchased all seasons on Blue Ray to go back and watch if time would ever permit.

Your analysis of the human reactions (good or bad) should keep one from experimenting if it were (hypothetically, of course) to become available. And then again, curiosity usually wins out...at least once!

Great article as always. Up & Interesting!
