Religion is blind and Science is lame

Updated on January 25, 2011

Science is lame Religion is blind

Albert Einstein quoted

Science without Religion is lame, Religion without Science is blind

Science without Religion is lame

Science seems to be based on evidence and technology. Science lacks inspiration as it seems to be in the mode of irrelement conclussions' Making Science lame for the imagination of the darkest. In the context of the size of the universe, if science tries envisioning the scale of Universe they would tend to ignore the many possibilities. Today's science acknowledges dealing with vast lack of knowledge of dark matter and dark energy, is humbling to our minds.Yet, Einstein quoted the most incomprehensible thing about Universe is the Universe comprehensible

Religion without Science is blind

Increase our knowledge without growing spiritually is lacking strength and balance. If anyone has not made a mistake may have not tried many new things and most likely living in denial. Tiring to find science through Religion that is based on the dark ages and low consciousness hardship makes living for today, incomprehensible.

Religion lacks a great deal of science as most profession scientist go lack the belief in magic and in God. Religion on a scale of 1 to 10 Religion is on a scale of 2 and non believer of God on a scale of 8 Universe is all connected, yet, tend to separate, Religion tends to be based on magic and experience.

A sum up

Science technology is indistinguishable from magic.

It sounds like you have come closer to a happier and healthier balance. God is just a word, it's always the results of people's behavior that always interest me in being Godlike.

In being a Christian I got in trouble...because I studied Psychology, Social Work, Quantum Physics, Philosophy, Science, and well my only final answer is we can all live in love. On the other hand the Evangelical Christian already put down his iron fist and told me I was going to hell. Well the Catholics told me not to read any other book besides Catholic one's or I'm going to hell, and all the churches I've been to tell me if I don't read the right bible I'm going to hell. Now Whose reality is this any way! I believe in Love, Mercy, and Forgiveness. Thought that was true the message of it all. lol But of course you can get lost in confusion again, because if you choose to be healthy, set emotional boundaries, love being who you were designed to be, they tell me I'm worshipping myself instead of God because I don't need to stay in unhealthy abusive relationships. I think out of my research...I just figure my relationship with God belongs to me...let others be...don't change them, don't fix them, and if their heart feels right about being any other religion, atheist, agnostic or what ever, who am I to tell them who to be. I am not God. Don't think I was meant to save anyone. Thought that is what Jesus came to do. I have to laugh because my spiritual teacher always says, "lord please come save me from your followers! lol

Who asked you to handle Castiepaloma? Just enjoy!

But also you mention in your profile

"Behind Castlepaloma, is a happy person connected to my natural self. Draw from the source of good intention and a co creator with God. Prefer leading myself rather than belonging to any group, or Religion or Politics. Above all, Love everybody, for God is everyone as Science technology is indistinguishable from magic"

with that type of drive is there any thing you are not ready to handle or is there any thing you really want to handle?

Detachment is some thing you seem to be enjoying. Are you not already much more spiritual than those who shout about it?

Nice article and nice sentiments and understanding. Rarely one sees so clearly described roles and limitations of these two aspects and in such short space.

      I like both these sentences

      Science without Religion is lame.

      Religion without Science is blind.

In fact if one sees carefully both thee styles follow quite similar methods but extreme people on both sides often just createuselss fights and discussions about them (I once wrote an article about it

      https://hubpages.com/religion-philosophy/science-s... )

Unfortunately mostly one sees at least on main stream media, press and Internet only such useless fights.

While need is more analysis like what you have done in this nice article.

What amazes me most about his brilliance is that it was not specific to just one area. He was scientist, philosopher, sociologist, and sometimes even theologian. It's not fair how smart he was. Haha.

A world champion atheist: Richard Dawkins said on YouTube, He thinks of himself as deeply religious man like Einstein.

Well so much for being 100% atheists

Nobody but Einstein himself really knows how he interprets religion. Most of us just know, we are better for having his mind and spirit present...

The thing is Science fails to acknowledge religion probably because science acknowledges things that are "tangible". But, religion believes in "intangible" - the "experience". Hope I make sense!

I admire all artists, it's hard to be an artist, really hard, and well not paid enough, at least for me anyway.... Maybe i can pick up some tips from you......... Enjoyed your hub, and read your profile, a huge thumbs up, and just keep writing, and in two days my privelege of writing in the forums will have returned. Wow!!! Your Dad hung out with the man of the century and played music, how much more beautiful dose it get.

I have a good friend in Mexico, (age 92) who was a student of Einstein, that's like getting second hand information’s rather than third hand me downs from books.

Castlepaloma...Balance is key in everything. I never discuss religion or politics because too many lame people always have something lame to say. My father hung out with Einstein in New York many years ago. Einstein always brought his violin and my father played the piano. A beautiful vision without the science. ha

      I enjoy your mind.......Best, GPAGE

Neither religion or science has all the answers. I choose creativity and art present in homo sapiens since the stone age more than 20,000 years ago to express the greatest truth about the nature of our existence.

Yes agree. Separation is a way we tend to view the world in which we love. They are not separate and one cannot exist without the other just as our right brain and our left brain cannot. There is balance in acknowledging and being aware of how both work right along side each other perfectly.

Another beautiful hub! Thank you my dear!
