Salvation is All About Christ Jesus

I recently wrote for a new site and put in many weeks of hard work editing and doing all I could to make a go of it only to be kicked out for using Jesus' name.

I am sure fellow Christians understand there is no way I could have stayed anyway with this restriction and I know too that some at this site will deny this was the reason, for they preferred to call it preaching. Well if teaching the bible using verses is preaching then OK, guilty there, (although I do suspect politics came into it too) but also I found out that although the two who slammed the door in my face found it alright for others to speak of God but because I taught salvation and Jesus it offended others they said. I think it especially offended one who called herself a Christian but only thought Jesus was a special person, not her savior. This is true in the Christian world and many of us are aware of it. It is a very difficult argument with even simple reasoning. Yet I plan to try.

Jesus Our King

This - Our Age of Grace

If this opens even one eye it will be worth the effort. I hope it will not be a curse for those who just will not see. If you do not believe Jesus is Christ The Savior and are not or do not claim or want to be Christian then this is not written for you. This is written for those who claim and possibly even think they are Christian but have no idea of what that really is.

How then can Christians think they can be Christian without Christ Jesus?

1. Christian comes from the name Christ.

2. Christmas comes from the name Christ.

Understanding Salvation

Do you fully understand that without Christ Jesus you are not saved from destruction or have the promise of life in Heaven everlasting?

See results

He withstood all this for me (all) and the pouring out of His blood for my sin and stripes on His body for my healing. Even realizing Our Father sent His Son for me. Is it just the Age of Grace and meant to be, for I know scriptures tell me of a group in the end that the Father Himself will gather in His arms Himself. Is this after this time or Age of Grace has passed? The ones left behind but refuse the mark of the beast? For they must refuse or spend eternity in hell. It would such a hard decision to make even knowing what eternity of hell would be.We have seen the many Christians slaughtered in the past few months and surely they had the Holy Spirit of Christ to see them through such a horrible time.I believe it will be so and for these the battle will be great.

I pray all see now and receive Christ in the Age of Grace while his blood covers us and all we do is invite him into our hearts in His grace this merciful time, rather than spill our own and those we love left behind. So I know our God is a loving and a merciful God but in this Age of Grace is it wrong to lean on Jesus for my comfort, feeling a kin with my Savior? This is the time of the body of Christ, we are that body, and we are a part of Him.We talk a lot and He reminds me often I should stand on His word and in the end, if I am without a friend I will have no fear, for He will be there with arms stretched out knowing Him and walking with Him. He will take me to Our Father so I may understand His love as much as His Son’s.

Saved by Grace

Not of ourselves, nothing we can do other than accept this truth.

A definition of the Christian doctrine of salvation would be “The deliverance, by the grace of God, from eternal punishment for sin which is granted to those who accept by faith God’s conditions of repentance and faith in the Lord Jesus.” Salvation is available in Jesus alone (John 12:6 Acts 4:12) and is dependent on God alone for provision, assurance, and security.

Clear words from the bible for anyone who wants them.

Isaiah 53:5

5 But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed.

Simple Salvation Scriptures

No room for doubt as to how we are saved or by Whom.

This is so clear. So simple. So beautiful. Truth. How could any word of this offend anyone?

Jesus _ Sweetest Name I Know

1 John 5:11-12 And this is the testimony: God has given us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. The one who has the Son has this eternal life; the one who does not have the Son of God does not have this eternal life. Romans 5:8 But God demonstrates his own love for us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us. Ephesians 2:8-9 For by grace you are saved through faith, and this is not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; 9 it is not of works, so that no one can boast.Titus 3:5-7 he saved us, not by works of righteousness that we have done but on the basis of his mercy, through the washing of the new birth and the renewing of the Holy Spirit, 6 whom he poured out on us in full measure through Jesus Christ our Savior. 7 And so, since we have been justified by his grace, we become heirs with the confident expectation of eternal life.Romans 4:1-5 What then shall we say that Abraham, our ancestor according to the flesh, has discovered regarding this matter? 2 For if Abraham was declared righteous by the works of the law, he has something to boast about (but not before God). 3 For what does the scripture say? “Abraham believed God, and it was credited to him as righteousness.” 4 Now to the one who works, his pay is not credited due to grace but due to obligation. 5 But to the one who does not work, but believes in the one who declares the ungodly righteous, his faith is credited as righteousness.Romans 4:25 He was given over because of our transgressions and was raised for the sake of our justification.2 Corinthians 5:21 God made the one who knew no sin to be sin for us, so that in him we would become the righteousness of God.1 Peter 3:18 Because Christ also suffered once for sins, the just for the unjust, to bring you to God, by being put to death in the flesh but by being made alive in the spirit.John 1:12 But to all who have received him--those who believe in his name--he has given the right to become God's children. John 3:16-18 For this is the way God loved the world: he gave his one and only Son that everyone who believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. 17 For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but that the world should be saved through him. 18 The one who believes in Him is not condemned. The one who does not believe has been condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the one and only Son of God.

How very interesting. It is a hard life. Those who understand for themselves and mean for others to understand their way, is the hard road. I think I like folks like you who are so confident. It is good. You do real well in citing scripture. It is a good view. I personally appreciate that HP includes such writing. Religious preaching to one can be spirituality to another. Good for both.

This is beautifully done. It portrays a change in destiny for those who were born lost. He is our only true savior. A savior is someone who at all costs, carries out a plan to save others. the song, "Amazing Grace" states that "Once I was lost, but now I am found!" It is the most copied, the most recorded song of all time, so maybe it could speak to those who are desperate, in need, and confused, just like John Newton, its author, written after he had lost his wife and two daughters. What a Great Christmas Gift to the World was Jesus the Savior! Just think, without him, there truly would be no Christmas Day!

Thank you Eric. I am very firm in my belief that without Jesus we are simply lost. This is not to say we or "I" am better than everyone else for as I have told above, it is through grace and nothing to do with how good we are...or that would be a sad story. But it is a happy one...no one excluded for He came for all.

So pleased you enjoyed this Oscarlites and I would be happy to include that song also, why not? I love it!

I so wish others had your insight of our savior and perhaps your words will bless even one into thinking about taking a first or even renewed look at the Man who give us all eternity just for the asking!

    Thank you.

Jackie, I share your passion for letting the world know that we all need Jesus, and I admire you for clearly expressing your faith in Him. Thank you for this exhortation at the time of year when we as Christians need to be proclaiming that Jesus is what the Christmas season is about. Be encouraged and blessed! Enjoy Christmas!

    Dear Jackie,

What a beautiful truth you have shared here at this wonderful time of year when we celebrate the birth of our precious Lord and Savior ...Jesus! His Name is above all names. It boggles my mind just how much God loves us to send His only Son to die for our sins on that cross. That is extravagant love!

I know I need Him each and every day. I can't imagine going through this life without Him. He is my Hope, my Redeemer, my Strength, my Refuge, my Strong Tower in times of trouble, my Savior in whom I place my full trust and faith.

As you know, I haven't been on HP lately due to my husband having knee replacement surgery, so it is a joy to read this now.

    Merry Christmas, dear Sister!

...well, the HP share button is gone, but I will share on Pinterest.

Pleased you enjoyed this Theresa. Love your praise of the Lord. You remind me so much of an aunt I had who is now with the Jesus. I know she did Him proud and I am sure you do also. He loves you so much for proclaiming Him I am sure! More of us should be that way but at a minimum we should know what Christian means and it will certainly be important on the day Jesus could possibly say I never knew you because we denied Him. Huh?

I know your days are so full, and hope hubby is about on his feet again as normal as usual!

    Christmas almost here. Wow!

Hello Jackie. What a clear love-packed message for all- believers - non believers, pagans, christians and all in between. In this age of confusion regarding 'christmas' being everyting and anything to everyone and everybody whatever one wnats and opts to 'celebrate' as a haliday of Santa-Clause, you have come with a single point of the Creator Yahweh-God-Yeshua adventing into the human flesh of a man of Nazareth- Christ the Saviour- Emmanuel the God With Us.

He is here, after Golgota and resurrection morning, to take humanity "whoever believes" - back into the fellowship with the Heavenly Father, the same kind of fellowship lost back there in the Garden by a single act of disobedience.

Now, this your brave article is needed by all of us and everyone out there to consume once more the presented Scriptures.

At the same time let me express my sincere thank you and appreciation to HP administration for fair-play of equal affair.

From here to eternity!-after published John 1:12 - by believing , every one of us having right, authority to become the child of God by the power of the same Spirit, the Man of Galilee walked as the Son of God.

Having this in mind i would use the americanized phrase 'merry Christmas evryday"! yes, everyday " Christ in us the hope of glory" everyday the same a joy of salvation endlessly.

Have a blessed celebration Jackie. Peace with us.

Thank you so much Michael! How deep and beautiful your comments always are filled with truth. It always pleases me to no end to have friends that share my savior! There really is no explanation needed in our understanding of who He is and I too thank HP for allowing us our freedom of speech.

Merry Christmas Michael to you and yours and may we all become ever closer to Jesus and maybe even have Him come for us for the eternity we look so forward to! Joy that no eyes has seen nor mind been able to imagine!
