Our life stages are unique, Kathy enjoys sharing her thoughts and stages through her writing and looks forward to learning about yours.

The Holy Ghost Party don't stop

I am excited for you

Excitement abounds, as you wake, ready to be you! Start there grateful that for one more day God wants to use you? He gave you what you need for this one piece of time. You have a purpose of your own as you wipe sleep after awakening, unsure of your mission. You’re ready to bring it! So trust Him to give you wise words and actions.

Wait one minute, don’t open your mouth, listen it may be unclear what to say at first. Take a moment and ask to humble yourself for wisdom, for His words, and the actions, He has for you.

Please don’t forget to put on your armor before bracing the storms ahead, for again the surge may be unpredictable. It may take you off guard and place you in a tailspin. You may shake and rock to the core, but trust in God He will come through always.

Oh so you say, I’ve messed up, made a mistake, been hurtful, prideful, insensitive, wrong, sneaky, not trusting, giving up, or, in a nutshell, I have been human.

Are you under attack? Well, it’s okay, my friend, you are under attack. Never fear, share your truth, and always admit your humanness. It is one thing that bonds us together here on earth. We are life learners, even when your insecurities are louder than another’s.

We need the listening ear, the teaching comfort of a confidant.

On another day, that same person who comforted you may need you as a sounding board and mentor. God uses each one of us for His good; even suffering is part of the design. His word is so telling and purposeful. You sin, it’s a given, expect imperfection and forgive at the same time.

Your Sin was Washed by His Blood

By His blood, He makes us new, new to cleanse in the living water of His word. Confess to God and move forward. Know with every tiny step you take there will be a force attempting to pull you backward. This force you will fight with every thought and breath, and yet, it will win. In those times of slip-up, hold tight to the promises of the cross you are stronger than your mess and God’s grace is sufficient in these battles. Give it up to Him as often as tested and when you can’t just call out His name, and you will be in His shelter. A shelter that is sturdy and unshakable, with walls that no storm can take from you. This shelter will withstand any raincloud.

If only you could trust in the Great and benevolent Lord of Lords and King of Kings, He is your protector, your Redeemer, your Father. He never leaves you and wants only the best for you. His arms are always open and welcoming. So when the tears stop falling and the anger has passed, and the mistake is in the past, and you can no longer rely on yourself or others, surrender once again for He is God. He is in every valley, and His spirit can lift you to every peak. He can pull you out of the deepest and darkest of situations. You may not understand, but He will provide understanding. He will challenge you to have faith is as deep and wide as His love for you. This faith will take constant hunger for His word. And remember, you can do all things through Christ who strengthens you (Phillip. 4:13).

Just keep talking to Him. Keep looking up and trust in the power of His plan. He will use every bit of you, the good the bad the indifference, even the ugliness of our sin. He will take the remnants and debris of every storm and make rainbows for our future. With every loss will come a win, every tragedy will bring joy, every test will bring an answer, in time.

Believe, love, laugh and forgive as He forgives. Everyone is struggling and trying to be like Him and some days they get it right, other days not so much, but He loves us all, anyway. Maybe we can do the same for one another and love in that way, without expectation.

Imagine how good that would feel? To not to judge others, instead of love with unconditional love. One day, we can come together, and we will see His beautiful face, we will lay at His feet in complete and utter peace. We can get there one day at a time. If we awaken to Him and trust in His direction, all things are possible.

See all of you at the party.

“Ain’t no party like a Holy Ghost party ‘cause the Holy Ghost party don’t stop.”

Peace In your stages

      Mekenzie ~

I have no words for this comment only joyful tears and thankful appreciation that you would take the time to leave such a comment. It has been yet another challenging week after yet another stay in the hospital. I am so blessed to continually see God's grace in these situations. I am always touched by the people He places in my path in difficult circumstance. I marvel as His plan intertwines our lives. As adversity is turned to gratefulness. I am in awe as He works to help us understand His plan in times of pain and stress. During my recent stay, I met a wonderful woman who was drawn to open up to me as she visited her sister in the hospital. She explained her walk and her road has been a difficult one as she has survived cancer two times. She admits to some sadness at her losses but is now reaching to a new road and eager to see what God has in store on that new path. She asked if we could be friends and of course I said yes. God wants us to be friends to one another. You have stated our meeting was not by accident and I agree. I have been blessed by your writings and also your comments and even more so by your prayers. Thank you friend and have a blessed and wonderful week.

Kathy, WOW To see the gratefulness for life through your eyes is precious. We do get to live one more day and there is no one quite like us.

Your description of the storms of life and our need to put on the armor of God and brace ourselves was very poignant.

Yes we do all mess up and our commonality is in being human. We are all life learners (well put!)

Your craftmanship with words is excellent in this hub. I am drawn to them and revel in the pictures they conjure up.

Here are some of my favorites: "This shelter will withstand any storm." "He is in every valley and His spirit can lift you to every peak." " He will take the remnants and debris of every storm and make rainbows for your future." "One day together we will see His beautiful face and we will lay at His feet in complete and utter peace."

I am drawn to worship Him who gave His life that we might live. We will be so blessed to lay at His feet in Heaven.

      Love, Hugs and Blessings,
