Saibaba original photos!

How Saibaba cured many ills?

Today being the holy "Mahasivarathri"(a celebration in the temples of Shiva where Shiva is worshiped throughout the entire night), i remember Shirdi Saibaba, who is the embodiment of Lord Shiva as per the revelation by Sri Sathya Saibaba during 1963 on the holy occasion of Gurupurnima day(Full moon day when the preceptors are worshiped). Shirdi Saibaba is considered as a preceptor by somebody, He is worshiped as an incarnation of God by some.

Saibaba himself had said several times, "I am Ganapathi, I am Mahalakshmi"(Hindu forms of God) etc., At other times, he would say, "Allah Malik"(God is great). Hence none can decipher his words. He was a mysterious phenomenon but he was always compassionate towards his devotees. He saved the devotees from many mishaps and troubles.

Once Nanasaheb, the Deputy Collector was suffering from severe stomach ache and no Doctors could cure him. He approached Saibaba and prayed him to cure his ache. Saibaba prescribed eating "burfi"(a sweet preparation with sugar and coconut) along with ghee. Nana immediately procured the sweet burfi and took it along with ghee. Immediately his stomach ache vanished!

One man was suffering from tuberculosis for a long time and the patient was vomiting blood every now and then. He approached many Doctors who could not cure him. He lost all hope of cure and approached Nanasaheb with his problem. Nana promptly told him to go to Saibaba. When the patient was brought to the presence of Saibaba, Baba at first refused to intervene stating that this is the result of past bad deeds. But the man caught hold of the feet of Sai and implored him to suggest some ready and he was literally crying out of frustration. Saibaba told him, "Do not cry, "However much one suffers, God is merciful and he will take care! Stating thus he sent him to the house of a devotee to stay. But that place was most unhygienic and nobody would like to stay in that place. However this man developed some faith in Baba's words and stayed there. Saibaba cured him by two dreams! In the first dream, the devotee suffered heavy thrashing from his teacher for not learning certain lessons and he suffered much in pain in the dream. In the second dream, some body moved a heavy stone on his chest up and down and this put him in lot of misery and pain. With the above dreams, the man was completely cured of his tuberculosis. From that time, the man has started worshiping Saibaba as "Sathyanarayana"(one whose words are nothing but Truth)!

In the third incident, a millionaire who was staying in Shirdi and who constructed a big palace like building in Shirdi by spending over a lakh of Rupees which is now housing the mortal remains of Shirdi Saibaba, suffered from continuous vomiting and motions. His cupboard was full of many medicines and tablets, both allopathy(english medicines) and local medicines. Due to constant motions and vomiting, he developed severe thirst. He approached Saibaba for a right drink which will cure his thirst. Saibaba prescribed him cooked nuts mixed with milk and sugar. When the millionaire drank the preparation, he was cured instantaneously!

In all the above incidents, it is Saibaba's words which are potent and powerful cured the devotees and not the medicines or preparations! Rest in Part XVIII.
