Signs a Taurus Likes You
How do You Know if Someone Likes You?
One of the most asked questions in the world is whether someone likes you or not. My own inbox is full of questions eager by people asking if someone they know has interest in them. There are some tried and true ways to tell if someone is interested in you and wants to continue getting to know you, or would rather you stop bothering them and let them live in peace.
Common questions I get:
Are they just being polite or do they actually like me?
Is it possible for an Aquarius and Scorpio to have a successful romance?
Is he interested in me or her?
Did I blow my chances with him?
What should I say? I really like this person and want it to workout.
I'll do the best I can to offer you answers in these arenas. Today our focus is: does a Taurus like me? Taurus is the second sign of the zodiac with birthdays from April 19 to May 20. They are a fixed earth sign, dominating spring.
What are Fixed Signs?
In Astrology, the fixed signs are the second, fifth, eighth, and eleventh houses. Every element -- air, water, earth, and fire -- all have one of each: a cardinal, fixed, or mutable persuasion. Also, every elemental sign has the same neighbors. All Taurus are after a fire sign and before an air sign. Western astrology is based off old calendar systems, in order for people to keep track of their harvest schedule. Calendars in part were created to avoid famines. Overall, astrology is based in math. It breaks the year up into 12 divisions, with 4 elements, and 3 persuasions.
Taurus is the earth fixed sign, Leo is the fire fixed sign, Scorpio is the water fixed sign, and Aquarius is the air fixed sign. These signs tend to be more stubborn and difficult to convince of another viewpoint or set of goals.
Fixed Signs believe that steadiness will get them to their end goal. Those influenced by this quality are happy to go forward with projects; they diligently work away until they have conquered their goal. This is what gives meaning and purpose to a fixed sign. They have the persistence and ability to concentrate, a trait that their other 8 wish they could have.
As an earth sign, Taurus wants to make sure it manages its resources well. This is a person who likes to work with their hands, they want to make sure other people's needs are addressed and fulfilled. Taurus wants to accomplish real goals in the physical world. Earth signs are the most attached to their bodies. Air signs are the opposite -- they're the most detached to their bodies, and prefer living freely in their minds. Water signs understand things through the lens of their emotions; fire signs understand things by desire, by manifestation, and stepping forward -- they're all about freewill.
Earth signs are here to remind us that you have to work hard and put in your hours if you want to see any progress, if you want to have any money, or if you want to have a house. They tend to favor the literal over the metaphorical -- they can struggle to see the point of something if it doesn't fulfill the needs of a basic concern such as shelter, food, pleasure, and proper maintenance.
Signs a Taurus Likes You
When a Taurus likes you they will do acts of service for you. Earth signs want to make you feel pampered, they give of their resources, they make sure you have all that you need. Taurus is a sensual sign, as it lives in its five senses. A Taurus will flirt with you, and will definitely come on strong if they can seclude you to themselves. A Taurus in earnest may wait for you to approach them. This is partly because they are born right after Aries, the first born of the zodiac who is incredibly forward with what they want and the people around them. Taurus wants to set itself apart from the larger than life personality of Aries. This is why Taurus does some things opposite like nurturing instead of creating, responding instead of initiating, and managing instead of leading. You could use an earth based personality to organize your surroundings. A Taurus is designed just to do that.
With an earth sign if you are wanting to know if they like you, look at their actions and not just their words. Are they trying to take care of you in some way? Like jump your car battery, do your dishes, remove an eyelash from your face?
Taurus Will Spend Money on You
If a Taurus likes you, they'll keep wanting your company. They'll find a way to interact with you, but not speak their mind. They're hoping you'll close the gap and help get the romance started. They can be forward if they so desire, but they also don't like interfering with how things naturally happen. They're not as obsessed with manifestation as their friend Aries. Taurus instead wants to take care of what is around it. Consider spring -- it starts right after the bleak of winter. Aries comes in with a few bolts of lightning, tornadoes, and flowers. In Taurus, we often have Easter. You still have plenty of rain, you still have a lot of uneasiness in the weather, but there is celebration for life. You believe that what was once dead is now alive. Taurus is a lot like Adam in the Bible. He is expected to tend the garden, name the animals, and be careful about what fruits not to eat. Taurus wants to avoid the bad apples, they have already experienced enough sour apples in their time and know it as a setback. Instead, Taurus wants to be focused about what is on its land, how to make things better, and also connect with things outside of itself.
When a Taurus likes someone, they'll respond positively to your advances. It was Eve who first ate the apple, not Adam. He of course followed suit, but he wouldn't really take initiative there, and when God showed up -- he blamed Eve. He didn't look at his own actions. He himself picked the fruit too, she didn't force it on him. That would make for a lot different of a story. Taurus doesn't like ti think it interacts with or contorts nature but goes with it.
Taurus types frequently like to be outdoors, they like to shepherd those around them, and they are good at managing their money. If a Taurus is spending money on you, that's a sign that they like you and have an interest in you. Taurus sees things in ways of money: whether you are of value, whether they should take interest, if they can borrow your time, loan out their time.
If you are good with money, you can keep a Taurus for a long time. It is very unattractive for Taurus to see someone bad with money. This almost (if not) gives them an anxiety attack. They worry that you are not respecting life by being a spendthrift. And Taurus wants to protect and nurture life. All earth signs are somewhat conservative and diligent about their funds. They don't want to just spend it all on a fancy trip, or buy the nicest, organic food -- they'll stock up on cheap ramen noodles or even cheaper.
Taurus often finds the perspective no one else was finding. They intrinsically want to know the world, the life forms around it, and sometimes they're so focused on this that they can forget to have fun. They are strong caretakers, but they need someone who can bring some pizzaz into their life. Taurus has a tendency to be too hard on itself and also get tunnel vision. Taurus thinks it is their way or the highway, and may get very cross if you try to change things they hold dear -- like their budget or some bizarre collection they have had.
If you are someone who is tidy, clean, and respected by others -- Taurus will likely be interested. They don't want someone who is too all over the place, and they don't want someone who constantly creates, but never manages their creations. This just adds more to Taurus' busy load. They will give you plenty of affection, send you texts just to check-in, and work somewhat like clockwork in the way they love you. They can sometimes seem like a second-child with a chip on their shoulder trying to prove themselves, and also like an old man reading the newspaper and spending only $3 (if that) on lunch. They'll keep their trusty vehicle, because it works -- and they'll want an animal companion, likely a dog.
In fact, I wouldn't be surprised if a group of Tauruses originally domesticated dogs.
Taurus is opposite Scorpio. It's the center of spring vs. the center of fall. Scorpio exudes sexual energy, Taurus internalizes it. You'll be surprised how much they are into you when the two of you finally go to the bedroom. Scorpio gives you that kind of feeling way in advance. Taurus types tend to be monogamous, goal oriented, and stable. They bottle up their sexual feelings.
Yes, Taurus can get fussy. They like to argue and sometimes unfortunately turn into the bull. In their anger, they'll come straight at you whether they are right or wrong.
Dating a Taurus
If you've been eyeing a Taurus, try getting them to hangout with you outside. They would like a date where they can show off their body and outdoor knowledge. Try kayaking, rock climbing, a game of basketball, a trip to a sunflower field, riding bicycles, or going for a picnic.
A Taurus does like when you dress nice, but they're also okay with camping out in the wild. Be appropriate for any setting. Dress to impress for a night out at the city, and dress like you know how to camp when you go camping. Ask Taurus for advice -- it likes to dish out advice and hear its own voice. Taurus likes someone who can take care of themselves, but they also like to pamper and treat the person they like as if they were royalty.
