The Deception of Social Justice Initiatives in the Church System

PlanksandNails' goal is to be a catalyst in encouraging the followers of Christ to pursue Biblical truth for themselves.

There is a buzzword circulating in the church system called, ‘social justice.’ Many are ignorant of the roots of this noble goal to correct unfairness and bring about equality to our society. This sounds like a good idea, but many don’t realize that it has already manifested in history as communism. The social justice façade seems like a good cause, but under the surface there is a more sinister agenda.

Many people in the church system are embracing this concept as a valid practice of the Gospel, but this concept has a politically motivated agenda behind it and it is not consistent with the way of Christ.

It is important to recognize that there is a huge paradigm shift happening within our governing systems and within the corrupt man-driven church system today. The institutional church has taken on the guiding principles of humanism, socialism and new ageism.

The Ideology

The ideology starts by getting people from all areas of life motivated to do intrinsically good things to benefit society as a whole. Noble human efforts are the driving forces behind achieving a utopian goal. Reduced down a bit further, it equates to zealous humanists trying to give themselves peace of mind in their human efforts. Ultimately, it gives credit to mankind as the source for peace without God.

The United Nations has a plan. Every year on February 20th, the World Day of Social Justice is observed. Their mandates are about social integration and development objectives into sociopolitical programs that strives for one-world governance.

As followers of Christ, we must understand that it is not our duty through human effort to promote a platform based on the conviction of doing what man believes is right for the world. Man cannot save this world because it is a fallen one and the supposed peace of mind from doing noble efforts in the name of social justice will not redeem it.

Today, in the church system, social justice is being mandated as a duty of a Christian. Many fail to understand that this philosophy is the platform for a one-world governance masked in the noble efforts of trying to be just, right and fair. The social gospel has infiltrated the modern church system under the guise of activism. This ideology is replacing the genuine Gospel. It has become more about helping others with their temporal needs rather than receiving the grace of God through Christ.

The stepping stone of the social Gospel is about social justice, but this is not what the genuine Gospel is about. The gift of salvation has been replaced with another type of salvation from what society gives. The Gospel message has become distorted with religious sounding buzzwords that has redefined the nature of the great commission. Doing noble things under the umbrella of social justice is not the Gospel. When people try to add to what Christ has done or change it, they make themselves the saviours instead.

The true Gospel is about repentance, forgiveness of sin and accepting God’s gift of grace. It has nothing to do with the promotion of social justice. Social justice is a platform for the good things that man will do or what they are doing, but Christ’s platform is about what he has done.

In a system of free enterprise people can work hard and keep what they earn.

Do you think it would be fair if your hard earnings were taken away from you to support those who opt not to work?

The underlying theme of social justice is not really about helping people who are in need because of an unfortunate situation that was forced upon them or out of their control, but rather about giving to those that believe that they deserve a fair share from others by what they do not have.

Genuine charity comes from a humble heart to give, not from demanding self-righteous duty or obligation.

He has told you, O man, what is good; and what does the LORD require of you but TO DO JUSTICE, AND TO LOVE KINDNESS, AND TO WALK HUMBLY WITH YOUR GOD – Micah 6:6-8

The social justice that is being promoted is not biblical justice, but a justice implemented and legislated by a worldly government. This means that those who are deemed greedy and wealthy by law can have their assets seized in the name of social justice for redistribution to those who are deemed less privileged.

The concept of freely giving in the New Testament contrasted with government intervention are two vastly different concepts. It is foretold in Scripture that government and religion will merge. We can see the manifestation of it today with the Gospel being replaced with social justice initiative programs.

Social justice is not an acceptable substitute. The message of repentance and faith in Christ must be right at the forefront. The church system has thrown away the issues of repentance, obedience, sin, reverence and holiness. Temporal noble things in the name of peace, unity and tolerance are more acceptable than becoming a new creation in Christ. The corrupt church system has accepted humanistic ideals, syncretism and interfaith initiatives by embracing New Age and Marxist ideals rendered to a common ground of social justice.

The manifestation of social justice will ruin the doctrine that operates under the headship of Christ for a counterfeit intrusive system of legislated obedience. This does not allow people to be freely motivated from the heart of love that makes charity genuine.

If I give away all I have, and if I deliver up my body to be burned, BUT HAVE NOT LOVE, I GAIN NOTHING. – 1 Corinthians 13:3

The love of God manifests from an individual’s heart with a cheerful willingness to give to others. A mandated law is the opposite making it a requirement. When there is an involuntary possession of assets from the affluent to others, it counters New Testament doctrine. This is the difference between political and spiritual motivation or government control versus allowing Christ to rule to bring peace and freedom.

The question needs to be asked,

Did Christ come to save sinners from their sins in the name of social justice?

Noble ideas can deceive those who sincerely want to help the needy by naively going along with a political agenda. The true way of Christ and social justice are not compatible with each other. When the man-driven church demands social justice, the essential doctrines of Christ are abandoned because it removes him from being the center of the Gospel to humanistic service.

Here is one of the of the goals of the communist party in the United States in 1963:

#27 Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a "religious crutch." - http://www.crossroad.to/Quotes/communism/communism.htm

Benjamen Creme, a new age occultist gives some insight about the platform of social justice.

The only way to get trust is to share the resources of the world.” “His message can be summarized as: “Share and save the world.” He has not come to found a new religion but as an educator in the broadest sense. He will seek to inspire humanity to see itself as one family, and to create a civilization based on sharing, economic and social justice”

“When men learn to share they will know the meaning of life. When men share they will feel exalted and love what they do. Sharing will make men whole. Sharing will make man One. There is no end to the concept of sharing. It will prove the salvation of men”

“Once again, I repeat: without sharing and justice, my brothers and sisters, man will know no peace... Take, then, the only open course and trust in sharing to relieve the agony of the world... Know, then, the joys of brotherhood. The Principle of Sharing will lead you thereto. Commit yourselves to this cause and know the joy of service”

The text should pretty much sum up the new age Gospel and the platform it is built upon. Unfortunately, the modern church has embraced the deception of social justice because it is a good way to advertise their good deeds as a means to grow their memberships.

Karl Marx believed he had the solution for mankind:

“Religion is the sigh of the oppressed creature, the heart of a heartless world, just as it is the spirit of a spiritless situation. It is the opium of the people. The abolition of religion as the illusory happiness of the people is required for their real happiness. The demand to give up the illusion about its condition is the demand to give up a condition which needs illusions” (Karl Marx,Critique of Hegel’s Philosophy of Right)

Karl Marx’s words essentially mean that religions should be removed and social justice will solve the world’s issues. This ideology will not bring peace and freedom, but ultimately oppressive governance. History attests to the millions of people who have been killed under communist regimes. Under the illusion of the supposed benevolent front of social justice is really a malevolent means of ultimate control.

Social justice is not about fairness in its distribution even though on the surface it appears to be. The outcome of redistribution of wealth under a one-world- economy controlled by the government is not freedom. For those who are in the modern church system that are embracing this deception, run away from this ecumenical trap. You may think you are getting an ‘A’ for effort and feel good about your noble service, but do you not realize that all must be equal? Your ‘A’ must be redistributed evenly so that you don’t make others look bad for not living up to and serving to the expectation.

Hopefully, if you step back and look at things through a different lens you may see social justice for what it truly is.

Thank-you Celafoe for you affirmation. It is good to have a brother in Jesus Christ who desires the pursuit of truth. Truth is not popular these days and is offensive to many. The modern church system is harlotry when weighed and tested on God's Word. Those who have been spoon fed "Christians" can not digest the solid food of truth. They have not learned how to eat real meat and protein to build up their immune systems and muscles for growth. Time is short and many need to be shaken out of their ignorance and deception. It is good to see that there are those who have "come out of her" and realise the urgency of the times we are in.

and unfortunately most church folks will just drink the kool aid. Instead of doing as scripture says and checking against scripture to "see if this is of God". After all you can't disagree with your "pastor", he is the god of your church and would never lead you astray. Even though by assuming the current description and using the title "pastor" he shows he has himself drunk the kool aid and shows he does not understand scripture.. With the things being taught in the majority of churches today it is not surprising that so many calling themselves christian have such a distorted and liberal view of Christianity. Its time church people wake up an realize that much of what calls itself christianity today is not what Jesus and Paul and Peter and the others taught. Remember Paul said if anyone brings you a gospel other than the Gospel that WE, Paul and he others taught, that they are to be anethma (considered an enemy of Christ) and to STAY away from them. Remember He even named names. Of course that also is why so many that do understand no longer go to "church" They understand that the CHURCH is people only and not some mans little isolated kingdom or denominational branch office. They know the meaning of "where two or more come together in MY name there I am in the midst of them".

The real church is not a business or social club, but is people that love, worship and follow Jesus Christ and not ANY man. Yes there may be anointed men helping teach and leading by example by their servitude to the others as scripture clearly says but , there is no one assuming to be "in charge because of some man made title he has assumed". In a local body that is properly functioning you will have to look closely to see who the leaders (plural) are because they are only visible by watching closely and noting who is giving their life for the other saints without looking for rewards from man.

Anyone that knows God (Jesus-Holy Spirit) personally and intimately understands why scripture tells us to "come out of her " (the harlot church) or they will be brought down to where that group is, they will not come up to where you are. And those that you are hoping to see the truths may be watching you and waiting and wondering why you are still there.

People it is imperative to ask God "where do I belong right now and follow His instructions. Let me encourage you, do not listen to the accusations that you are in rebellion if God is leading you to something new. If God is telling you to start a home church, of leave and then He will tell you where to go (see Abraham), or go to a different church or stay home and teach your family for a while, FOLLOW God not men and you will be blessed in whatever you do as long as your heart is right and you remain pliable, correctable and teachable in HIS hands.,. Remember God desires obedience not sacrifice, He was the sacrifice.. There is a world full of people needing the truth that need to see it in action in YOUR LIFE.
